BEYONCE KNOWLES
As usual, Beyoncé continues her Thanksgiving holiday domination tradition with the release of a concert DVD. According to Beyoncé Online, a filming of her 4 Intimate Nights at the Roseland Ballroom, held in NYC this past summer, will be released on November 21. This is the fourth year in a row that the pop diva has released a live concert DVD during the Thanksgiving Holiday. She started back in 2007, when she released the well-received Beyoncé Experience DVD which catapulted her into mega-stardom and entertainment royalty. One thing is for sure: she’s smart. If she stays true to tradition, then there will be MTV, VH1, and ABC Thanksgiving specials during the weak of it’s release.
In the past few years Solange Knowles has become known for her spunkier attitude, and marching slightly off beat to the drums of her dancey diva sister Beyonce. And in these same years, Solange has accomplished what few siblings of superstars do – develop her own star power. Maybe it was her dip into djing, which is unfortunately scarce of females. Or maybe it was the daring chop of her mane to grow her hair out naturally. Truthfully, all of the above have added to her celebrity allure. But what we’ve come to love her for most is her great sense of style and growing presence as an IT girl in fashion.
Her she is at a Net-A-Porter hosted party for Dolce and Gabbana this summer, looking and feeling very 90s cool with her leggings and "Poetic Justice" style braids. Janet Jackson should be proud.
We can safely say England can't take the heat! Beyonce's new advertisement for the fragrance, Heat, has been banned on television stations in England before 7:30 PM.
The ad which has been called "raunchy" features the singer in a revealing, but tasteful red dress.
The Advertising Standards Authority thought that the commercial was sexually suggestive and unsuitable for young children. Okay, she does touch herself at times, but c'mon, the fragrance is called Heat! She's hot in every way, so let B cool off a bit. Plus, we've all seen more suggestive commercials.
Beyonce looks great. The Brits just need to relax a little bit. Wonder what they think of Kim Kardashian if they think Beyonce is sexual?
Not too many people are fond of the April 2010 Vogue cover. Let's just say what's on everyone's mind, the styling sucks.
Gisele Bundchen is in her breeziest 'hey girl' pose ever, and let's face it, could she possibly fit more bracelets on those little wrists?
Not as thick - nor overloaded with advertisements - as the March edition, Vogue is prepared to whip readers into shape for spring in its annual Shape issue.
Abercrombie & Fitch wasted no time Monday suing Beyonce Knowles upon her announcement to launch a perfume under her alter-ego, Sasha Fierce. Within hours, she was staring at a lawsuit of trademark infringement, deceptive trade practices, and unfair competition. Beyonce did not back down from Abercrombie’s cease and desist letter after she filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in September 2008.
