Horse Trade Management Group is presenting the 7th Annual FRIGID New York Festival, a fun and open, and uncensored theatre festival on the fringe of the mainstream. This one-of-a-kind festival is one of the best of theatre productions in the city and should be marked on everyone's calendar. Varieties of Religious Experience Written & Performed by Adam Strauss – Brooklyn, NY Inspired by a scientific study showing that hallucinogenic mushrooms can effectively treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, Adam Strauss embarked on his own program of vigilante psychopharmacology. Summer is all about having fun and that doesn't necessarily mean skipping out of town to the Hamptons. There's plenty of hot happenings going on right in your backyard. Whether you like taking in a good play, getting hot and heavy at a burlesque show, trying out great new foods, or just drinking all day long, there are plenty of options in NYC for you!

Symphony of Shadows: A Tale from the Land Beyond the Veil- Rachel Klein Productions and Dixon Place are presenting the world premiere of this creepy tale. This show tells the story of a woman combating "a variety of sleep disorders, phantasmagorical night terrors, hypnotic horrors, and other, visually stunning conjurings from the subconscious depths of her own disturbed mind." The show combines elements of circus and aerial arts, dance, movement, burlesque, and operatic productions to vividly illustrate its storyline. Horse Trade Theater Group always brings it for theater junkies and this month is no different. Celebrate Spring by broadening your mind with a variety of shows all month long. March: Debuting April 14th, this world premire of Sharyn Rothstein's tackles life's complications through Eva Perez and Michael Meltzer, two youths who couldn't be more different. The teens take on real and imaginary monsters in this funny and compelling theatrical journey. They meet as avatars in a fantasy realm in online game and form an unexpected friendship. The show is presented by Red Fern Theatre Company and will have a three-week residency at The Theater at the 14th St. Y from April 12-29th Thurs-Sat at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Tickets are available for purchase here for $20.

Friday, February 10th brings a new and unusual spin to classic burlesque. Storybook Burlesque will be working with the Horse Trade Theater Group to present The Works of Roald Dahl at Kraine Theater at 8pm. Delve into your childhood with adult takes on classic stories like James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Twits, and more.

Dare we even think of how they will interpret The BFG (big friendly giant)? Performers include, but are not limited to, Bitty Bamboo, Cheeky Lane, Iris Explosion, and more. The show promises to bring the fun, frivolous, creepy, dark, and sexy straight to the stage!
