Hospoda Celebrates 1 Year in the Upper East Side

Upper East Side’s Hospoda restaurant recently celebrated its 1 Year Anniversary with cocktails, delicious bites from their authentic European menu, traditional Czech music, a toast to owner Vita Chase, and even a little friendly competition. Hospoda headed by Executive Chef Olda Sahajdak and Chef de Cuisine Marek Sada celebrated a very successful first year with a packed house full of guests all ready to indulge in Hospoda's ethnic fare. The restaurant was modeled after their acclaimed sister location in Prague, La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise. They serve up delectable meat dishes such as veal schnitzel and beef tongue, scallops, and beef tartare. Guests gathered around the bar to enjoy Draught Master’s signature Pilsner Urquell and satisfied their palettes with beef tartar served on toasted crostini, warm ham and brioche shooters and duck with horseradish and potato.
