It’s the split that no one everyone saw coming.
Yesterday came the announcement that everyone, except the two involved, has been predicting since the beginning – after being engaged since January, Jesse James and Kat Von D have called it quits.
Von D, 29, broke the news via her Twitter account, saying, "I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I'd like to share. Thanks for respecting that."

Even with a tainted reputation, the 42-year old still managed to charm the ink off celebrity tattoo artist and media personality Kat Von D, 29. Now that's love right there. Who else could fall for the guy who infamously cheated on America's true sweetheart (better recognize) Sandra Bullock multiple times? Unless it's a turn-on for Kat. If that is the case, let us show her some respect for following her dreams.
Despite constant break-up rumors, the couple insist that they are stonger than ever and are preparing for their upcoming nuptials in the summer. "That's the furthest thing from the truth," adds Von D.
Continuing in the spirit of imitation, turn some heads at your Halloween party and dress up as someone who has had their fair share of controversy this year. Whether it be her alleged affair, and now public courtship, with former Mr. Bullock, Jesse James, or the launch of her new makeup line and book, Kat Von D is a woman whose presence is hard to miss. Luckily, however, her rockstar look can be fairly simple to recreate this Halloween.
As far as attire, stick to tight, black and skimpy wardrobe separates. A leather vest, skinny black jeans and anything with metallic studs will do the trick. For footwear, select a tall platform pump or boot: the edgier, the better. Keep makeup fairly simple with a dark smoky eye and bright red lips.
It was a red carpet experience last night at Fashion's Night Out at Sephora on 5th Avenue. With complimentary treatments and treats, it was certainly pappering you could get used to. Eager guests stuck it out on the line that extended to both sides of the double doors, before entering an overwhelming and lively scene.
