When we all thought Katy Perry and John Mayer would make sweet music together forever, the couple, who have broken up once before have again split. The couple, once in good spirits during awards season, were publicly photographed numerous times in the last few months at high profile events. Lately thought there have been clues indicating an impending breakup.
Sources tell People Magazine that the couple are spending significant time apart. Perry has been in L.A. while Mayer has been in his adopted state of Montana. Perry also tweeted a very sad and angry link to a song that says lyrics like, "I want you so much, but I hate your guts I hate you." If that is not a sure clue she is upset over the relationship we don't know what is. Sources also say she has become withdrawn from her social circle.

Rather than people/critics talking about how innovative of a musician he is, he has been stricken with the Kardashian-itis: being talked about because of who he was seen kissing or what female celebrity was caught leaving his hotel room in the A.M.

The two crooners are said to be taking it slow, according to sources, and have been chatting on the phone and going out on dates.
Both have had rough relationships in the past with high profile partners. Perry was recently divorced husband Russell Brand and Mayer has dated Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, and Taylor Swift, all whom have had their relationships targeted in the tabloids due to Mayer's candid way of speaking about his lady loves.
We just hope these two don't do anything stupid. The last thing Hollywood needs is another relationship disaster!
Celebrities, they're just like us! Well, not really. Outside the money and fame they do have to deal with the scathing opinions of the general public. Russel Brand will return for another round of hosting the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. The British funnyman will bring his raunchy comedy back to television, we just hope his recent divorce from Katy Perry will not be the butt of any of his jokes. Brand is reportedly very excited to take the reins of host again, a position he had when he hosted the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2008 and 2009.
Expect to see stars like Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Mark Wahlberg at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., and broadcast live on MTV.
