Ever wish you could enjoy the live music experience from the comforts of your own home? Well with the help of a new online platform called Mixify, you can forego getting glammed up for a night on the town and chill in your Snuggie for a musical night in.
Rising star Ken Loi will headline The Mid in Chicago this Thursday, and his performance will be streamed live on Mixify from 2:30 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. Mixify is billing itself as "The never-ending electronic music festival where you can attend virtual events with your favorite DJs, get their tracks, and make your own mixes." Sounds like a promising alternative for homebodies who still love to jam out with their favorite DJs.
The Fourth of July is going to be hopping at the Waterfront at Pier 92 this year. The 12-hour rooftop beach party will be hosted by Arrival and will feature performances by hip hop artists Lil' Jon and Wyclef Jean. Top electronica DJs will also take the stage, such as Hook N Sling, Ken Loi, Serge Devant, and The EC Twins.
Virgil's Real Barbecue will be serving food along with almost a dozen of the city's best food trucks, including Phil's Steaks and Valducci's Pizza. There will also be tanning decks for those looking to get Snooki-fied, a sand pit for those who wanna get down 'n' dirty, air conditioned cabanas to beat the heat, and an outstanding view of the Macy's fireworks on the Hudson.
Santos Party House will be hosting another official pop-up afterparty for Cosmic Opera! If you missed the craziness from last weekend or are looking for round two, be sure to get over there ASAP after Cosmic Opera Act II.
Ken Loi will be headlining with support from local fave DJ Pheel Good. In conjunction with their weekly Electric Beach party they are combining forces with Cosmic Opera to create the ultimate electro night. Santos Party House is NYC's premier venue for electronic dance music and this will be another great night at the epic party house.
