MORD FUSTANG
Like the sun needs the sky and the birds need the trees, Winter Music Conference needs the Juicy Beach party to make the month complete.
Entering its ninth year and still going strong, Juicy Beach is the brain child of producer Robbie Rivera and his wife/business partner, Monica. Every year, the couple curates incredible lineups for the 17-hour dance-marathon and 2013 is no exception! Juicy Beach will take place on Thursday, March 21st at the world-famous Nikki Beach with a star-studded lineup including, the event impresario himself, Robbie Rivera, alongside industry leaders such as Bob Sinclar, Manufactured Superstars, Cosmic Gate, Mord Fustang, Nari & Milani, Moguai and so many more. Tickets are available here.
March is upon us, and for electronic music fans in Miami, this month beats out Christmas for the most wonderful time of the year. Because not only does March conclude with the largest dance music festival in the country, but each day leading up to Ultra is also equally rage-worthy.
Miami boasts top electronic acts year-round, but we’re calling the official march madness commencement March 16th - the Winter Music Conference Opening Day.
March 16th offers events for everyone, from pool parties to all-night concerts, you will not want to waste one precious moment of these 24 blissful hours.
After discovering house music in 2010, I dabbled in the different sects of electronica and found myself in love. In March of 2011, I made my official crossover from rap-enthusiast to househead when I attended Ultra Music Festival. Nearly a year later, I cannot wait to return to my stomping grounds and once again bask in the harmonious music and beating sunshine.
Last year’s festival was an incredible experience, but as a newbie, I had a lot to learn. The low-point of my weekend was when my ticket was ripped off of the lanyard strewn around my neck by a drunken fool. The maniac grabbed the ticket that was hanging above my chest, and ran. Luckily, my mother had always instilled within me the importance of self-defense, so I lunged at the crazy kid who attempted to steal the $275 ticket and returned the item to its rightful owner... me.
