GLAM DAMN IT Best friends Jordan and Lindsey look stylish in each others clothes
That's What Friends are For

One of the perks of being a girl is that you can go shopping without spending any money. How? By rifling through the closets of your closest friends, of course!

What better way to fix fashion boredom quickly than to borrow a cute piece from your friends wardrobe?

Lindsey Miller, 19, was lucky when she came from Chicago to visit her friend, Jordan Borkan, 19, in Boston because they not only are the same size, but they both also share them same great taste in clothes.

On the right, Jordan wears a top from Urban Outfitters and a skirt from American Apparel. Lindsey on the left wears a top from 213 and shorts from Forever21. This cute pair stuck out from the many stylish pedestrians on Newbury Street by keeping it cute and cool on a hot summer day.

Spring Street Style Contest Winner!

NYC came to Boston last weekend as I took a trip to my favorite New England city to attend Anthem's "Ladies Luxury Escape" event in the Millennium Bostonian Hotel.

Thanks Caitlin, we love your style.

Spring Street Style Contest: Announcing our winners

Anna, (above right) flaunts some attitude in her Current/Elliott jeans, Loeffler Randall shoes, and a classic button-down with her own added twist: demonstrating her personal sense of whimsy, Anna printed "Why can't I be you" mirrored back-to-back down the front. Cute and clever.

Anna is 27 years old living in Beverly, MA. She currently works as a Sales Associate for Barney's New York and has won some excellent prizes from our friends at Beauti Control, DiSpagna Designs, and Lila Clothing.

Boston Street Style

In New England, the weather lends itself to sudden and unexpected changes that can leave you feeling less than well-dressed. During the spring in particular, your coat is just as important as what you wear underneath. Why cover up a cute outfit with a North Face fleece? Marissa, a 28-year-old dentist from Providence, has the right idea. Her gorgeous Kate Millen trench is the perfect match to the rest of her simple-chic ensemble. The just-above-the-knee length and cinched waist make this look effortlessly flattering. For a look that's weather-appropriate and leaves you looking perfectly put-together a timeless trench coat is the perfect piece.

Sean, a 23-year-old Cambridge local and Boston native, exudes classic sophistication. Spotted at Cambridge Wines, Sean was dressed in a dapper chocolate velvet jacket from Banana Republic, and Dockers vest and pants. His red ascot and brown newsboy cap complete this grad student's collegiate look. The hat, his favorite item of clothing, was a Christmas gift.

City Collegiate

Ivy League pearls and tweeds are out and rumor has it, college kids have settled on messy sweats everyday for class. As a college student myself, I try to keep away from the sloppy look, and when I look around the streets of Boston, I see I'm not the only one trying to keep it classy.

That being said, I was drowning in a swarm of the typical city-slicker black and grey, so I had my eyes peeled for some flashes of colors. It was a warm, sunny St. Patrick's Day when I spotted Irene Haji- Georgi, who stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the drunken green clad students and the waves of black business suits in her khaki trench coat and muted green leather Frye boots (bought at a huge discount she happily noted). All were subtly festive, at least in comparison to the over-sized leprechaun hats stumbling around her.
