A friend of mine and I decided to get something to eat this past Saturday after our hunger had been impatiently following us around all day. Both of us identifying the apparent desire for Italian that our taste buds teased into a frenzy, we (okay, I) decided to try out a place called Via Emilia, a Northern-Italian restaurant tucked away on 21st street in the Flatiron District. We hopped in my friend's red BMW (see also: leather interior, sunroof, jealousy), drove a small ways, found a parking spot next to the ever-lush-with-green Gramercy Park and walked a few blocks to our destination.
