Pur Lounge is a place that is generally bustling with activity. The lounge was first established and opened up their doors in 2006. It is located in Canton, a neighborhood which has a long history with the Baltimore night life. There is a cover charge if you arrive after 9 but free before that. Whether you want to go just grab a couple of drinks with friends or hit up the dance floor with a stranger, this is the place you can do it and do it with style.
Eats & Drinks
There isn’t really much to say here about the food mostly because Pur doesn’t focus on food. What you want to come here for are the drinks, the atmosphere, and the company. There are drink specials going on constantly and the bartenders do a great job with the blend, which means that they are knowledgeable and experienced. When the drinks are regular price, the price is fair and there shouldn’t be any surprises. Even if you have to pay the entrance fee because you arrive here a bit late, it’s worth the visit.
Ambience
It is understandable to say that Pur is a trendy place with class. This mostly starts with the feel you get once you step inside. The first floor is covered mostly in white with accents of red. Even the people who come to the venue seem to be more chill and cool instead of the underage kids you might find at other bars. Every club or lounge will have those kinds of people but it doesn’t seem as frequent here. You can initially tell that Pur tries to cater to more mature people than the craziness one might find at a different nightclub.
