Located in the Northwest area of DC, Lotus Lounge offers a calming dining experience. Named after the lotus flower, Lotus is sure to give an unforgettable experience. Featuring added touches to calm your fears and worries, Lotus removes the daily stresses you may be suffering. The lounge transports you into a sophisticated setting. Asian cuisine continues the theme of this tranquil setting in the heart of the city. DJ’s spin music while the dancing adds to his delightful environment. Dining in this hip space are professionals, but at Lotus Lounge there’s something for everyone.
Eats & Drinks
The eats of the Lotus Lounge include a variety of unique martinis, tasty mojitos, 10 types of champagnes, as well as red and white wines. For eats try the Lotus Sushi Sashimi Platter that features two rolls with a combination of the chef’s recommendations. The rolls can be a little pricey, but the specialty dishes can satisfy your fish cravings. Salads and hot dishes are also available as well as your typical sushi rolls. For those who have sweet tooth’s Lotus offers triple chocolate and raspberry chocolate mousse cakes to end your calming dining experience.
Ambience
The ambiance of Lotus Lounge features modern and curvy architecture at the entry. Sleek couch furnishings surround the circumference, while back lighted red walls create an intimate environment for conversations and dancing. The bar is decked out in blue lighting and is similar to a long inner tube. A lengthy bar with many barstools and stage lights accent the surrounding area. Downward pointing lotus flowers are featured above the bar ceilings that reinforce the theme of a calming space. Geometric shapes in reoccurring fluorescent colors serve as a sensuous backdrop.

Cute and pretty posh bar/club. The 18+ age limit attracts some older creepers, but also college students and recent grads. Music ranges from Miley Cyrus to the Top 40.
