Venue Description:
5 opened in the Fall of 2000, by the same owners of the venue Nation and therefore brings in big DJ names occasionally. In the past, Sandra Collins, DJ Micro, and even Paul Oakenfold have spun at 5. It caters to a 21+ crowd, and you must dress to impress - the dress code is strictly enforced at the door. You will encounter jam-packed lines at the door, the bars, the restrooms, and the coat check; it's a highly popular place. Inside the dance floor is small and separated from the back, "lounge" area that is all reserved seating. The College Night Thursdays attract the 18+ crowd, while Fridays and Saturdays bring a more sophisticated lot.
