Situated in a historical, mega mansion, 18th Street Lounge transports individuals to another world. Located in Connecticut Corridor, this Lounge is mostly known for their eclectic style of music, which is rooted from the former owners who were deejays in the DC area back in 1995. Furnishings such as silk sling-back chairs and floor to ceiling windows entice individuals seeking a lavish evening. The upscale crowd is always dressed to impress; no casual clothing allowed here! 18th Street not only encompasses the best in style, elegance, and entertainment, but luxury to satisfy every desire.
Eats & Drinks
Even though the 18th Street Lounge does not specifically offer specialty drinks, it does offer a cash bar with a variety of beers and wines. During the happy hour from 5:30 to 8 drinks you can bet that the drinks will be strong and will definitely satisfy. Most of the happy hours are located on 18th’s deck during the spring and summer months, a rare find in this urban environment. The lounge hosts private events up to 150 people, and offer catering services from their partner venue Local 16.
Ambience
The ambiance of 18th Street Lounge embodies an individual’s good taste with their three gas fireplaces complete flanked by dark colored couches. Individuals can also mingle at the mahogany wood bar for a more intimate setting. Crystal chandeliers hang above the high ceilings to accentuate the charm of this classic mansion, while strategically placed mirrors provide extra light to the slightly dim lounge. Two separate rooms offer customers a casual, comfortable, yet affordable environment, without the worry of a high price tag.

The closest thing to a glamorous happy hour crowd in DC happens here. Come before 8 and hang out in the patio area.

Don't miss Sunday nights with Sam "the Man" Burns and the best house music dance party in the city!

Wednesday nights = Reggae nights. Place is chill n' laid back as far as DC goes. Eclectic crowd, especially for the area it's located in. You won't be disappointed.
