Beggars canÂ't be choosers. If you live in the Friendship Heights/Tenleytown/AU Park area, and you like to stumble home from the bar, then your options are (sadly) only hotel bars and restaurants. ItÂ's almost like living in the ‘burbs. Upper NW likes to ruin a good old-fashioned drinking binge with food and families. And ChadwickÂ's is no different. True, the bar area is smoky and full of thirty-something men in collared shirts flirting with whoeverÂ's seated next to them—but thereÂ's probably also a senior citizen and a toddler tucking into a cobb salad and cheeseburger in the next room. Luckily ChadwickÂ's understands that “happy hour” should extend to 11pm, so if you want a half-price beer at 10pm, you donÂ't have to worry about drinking in front of impressionable children.
