Venue Description:
Sitting just south of Dupont Circle, this sister restaurant to the well-regarded Indian mecca in Glover Park offers smaller plates and a more informal atmosphere to a younger, Georgetown crowd. The umber and saffron room and the dreamy soundtrack will transport you to a stupa in the foothills of the Himalayas. The food, sometimes, tries to jar you out of that culinary trip by offering off-note dishes like “pastabilities” and curry on polenta. While we applaud globetrotting, we would advise you to stick to the Indian and feast on the small plates. Desserts at Indian places are usually a must-to-avoid and here is no exception.

Good food and relaxed service really helped us settle in and enjoy our meal. Naan was fantastic.

A more limited menu than the other locations, but the food was still very good. We had excellent service as well.
