This is your classic American bar right in the heart of the DC area. True to its namesake Bourbon offers almost every bourbon imaginable, along with a large variety of beer. If that is not enough for you, a wine dispenser allows the bartender to serve an array of wine of by the glass. The menu at Bourbon from the burgers to the crab cakes, is also AMAZING. This place is not to be missed.

James Yancey, (aka J. Dilla or J. Dee) was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and died from a blood related illness in February of 2006.
Dilla was a legend in the hip hop community and developed a large cult folloåwing after his death. Dilla was also a founding member of the Soulquarians, a soul collective group whose members included Common, D’angelo, Bilal, Q-tip, Questlove, Erykah Badu and James Poyser. Dilla was also a member of the rap group Slum Village.
February 19 thru the 20th was "DC loves Dilla" weekend.
