Scene
The Toledo Lounge has been featured on CNN, ABC and NBC News and was the location for a Rolling Stone-produced documentary on the single life. The Lounge has appeared on countless top ten lists and was recently again named one of DC’s best bars in both Washingtonian magazine and the Washington Post. It is the watering hole and dining spot of choice for all cool kids, no matter their age, occupation or background. Everyone is welcome at the Toledo Lounge. Politicians, pundits, politicos, journalists, Hill staffers, interns, artists, musicians, students, tourists and all manner of regular Joes have made the Lounge their own. It is as authentic, unpretentious and welcoming as any neighborhood bar could be.
Eats & Drinks
Toledo Lounge offers delicious snacks and drinks to start your night off right. Try something off the snack menu such as the Holy Toledo Wings or the Black Bean Dips and Chips. Really hungry? Go for one of the Famous Lounge Burgers guaranteed to make your mouth water. Opt for Bobby’s Bacon Cheddar Melt or if your really daring go for The Blue Pig. Either way you will leave satisfied. Toledo’s offers a full bar and beer menu to wash that down with. Ask the bartender to mix you up a specialty cocktail, but be careful, they are strong.
Ambience
The energetic and exciting vibe of Toledo Lounge practically oozes out of the place. From the business cards taped to the doors to the pictures of customers wearing their beloved Lounge t-shirts in faraway lands, the Lounge is a beloved establishment. Toledo’s is everyone’s favorite neighborhood bar offering a relaxing and casual atmosphere for the crowd that just wants to have a good time. Relax in an uber-hipster vibe as you watch the mixed crowd get crazy!
