Bass-dropping producer and DJ extraordinaire Afrojack made an exciting announcement last night: 15 tour dates have been added to his summer “Jacked” tour!
Afrojack is taking his talents to the electronic music hubs of America, making stops in Miami, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles amongst others.
We're a bit surprised by Afrojack’s choice of adding another New York date, after closing Electric Daisy Carnival last weekend AND playing the afterparty at Pacha. But I suppose the Grammy-winning producer was just craving more of Pacha’s bottle-popping madness, which would explain why he will return to his stomping grounds for another dance-floor rattling performance June 28.
Memorial Day is the official kick-off of the year's summer festivities and Joonbug's got you covered. There are a bunch of great concerts, parties and events this weekend so be sure to check them out. So, whether you're heading to the shore or staying in Center City, we've got you covered!

Electric Zoo may think it has the market cornered for Labor Day Weekend festivities, but music mogul Jay-Z has other plans in mind. Last week, the rapper/producer announced his Made in America multi-genre music festival for the same weekend, to take place on the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. And with a lineup ranging from classic rock to electronic, what other place would be fit to host the festival besides the “City of Brotherly Love.”
Phase one of the lineup boasts an impressively eclectic group of artists to perform alongside curator and headliner Jay-Z, including Pearl Jam, Rick Ross, Skrillex, Wale, Afrojack, Passion Pit, The Knocks, Savoy and more.
Hey kids, EDC is finally upon us. And luckily for you, they have released the full schedule right in the nick of time. As expectied, the lineup is ridic. Go here for a larger printable version and here for more details.
See you there!
The rumors have been spreading; the excitement building; the anticipation almost unbearable. Finally, after months of waiting, we get our first concrete fact about the imminent Sensation America Festival: launch party and official announcement coming May 31st. Where? Still undecided. How? Not sure yet. I guess the mists surrounding this are still thick, but hey, at least we have a date!
If you didn't read our last article introducing Sensation, I'll give you a short recap. Basically, it's by far the biggest and most extravagant dace party/concert/theater/production touring festival in the world. Starting every year in Amsterdam and traveling to more than ten different countries, Sensation sits firmly atop the EDM festival hierarchy. Once you see the intro video, you'll see why:
