Avianne & Co Designs Custom Jewels for Birdman

New York based jewelery company, Avianne & Co, has recently created an exclusive collection for Birdman, the co-founder of Cash Money Records. The jeweler created an 18k White Gold Mens Custom Diamond Ruby Pendant. Elliot Avianne has previously worked with the Young Money team and thus, conceived the idea for the pendants along with Birdman.

The design of the pendants were first sketched on paper and then enhanced via computer by George and the custom design team at Avianne's. The Burmese ruby pendant is composed of natural gemstone and surrounded by Pave Set diamonds, containing 5 carats of flawless D color white diamonds. Each pendant contains a 30 carat special cut gemstone. When cutting a stone of that size, the jeweler must first obtain a 'root stone' of three times the size since there is about a 60% loss in carat weight during the cutting process. Elliot oversaw the production and cutting of each stone and had the set, including the Burmese ruby, Emerald Cut Green Emerald, and a Black Diamond, hand-delivered to Birdman. The set of pendants is estimated at about $105,000.

Peplum Tops

Judging by the blogs this week, the peplum trend isn’t going anywhere. Emily from Cupcakes & Cashmere displayed this look with an adorable pink peplum top from H&M. We also saw the trend on Blair from Atlantic-Pacific, as well as Delmy from Fashion Bananas. Try it yourself with this sleeveless version by Anthropologie.
