America's most hated beloved guidettes, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenny "JWoww" Farley are back at it for another season. Thank God! What would television be like without seeing those two up to their usual antics, talking politics, reading classic American literature tanning, having many of drunken nights and fighting?
In early August, MTV producers decided to order a second season of Snooki and JWoww, even though the first season's ratings weren't what the network hoped they would be. However, they are expecting that adding the birth of Snooki's son into the show's storyline will help give ratings a much needed boost.
Apparently Lil’ Wayne despises the birthplace of hip-hop, New York. In a recent interview with MTV News, the hip-hop superstar wasted no time throwing a jab New York’s way, when he said “Flat Out, I Don’t like New York.” Hip- Hop fans may wonder why Weezy F. Baby harbors such ill feelings towards one of the biggest marketplaces of music throughout the world. Well, the answer is pretty obvious.
In 2007, Lil’ Wayne was on the top of the totem pole in the music, selling out concert venues all across the globe, a #1 album that sold over a million copies in its first week (unheard of in a day and age where music is illegally downloaded) and was scouting/signing various new talents (Drake/Nicki Minaj) to become a part of his now powerhouse label YMCMB. That July for the first time ever Lil’ Wayne was set to headline a show for the first time in New York City. Thousands of people packed into the sold-out Beacon Theatre excited to see the New Orleans’ rapper perform both new and old material. The energy inside the building was at an all-time high and only intensified when he showed up wearing a Run DMC T-shirt (paying homage to Queens-born group that would be on the Mount Rushmore of rap if there was one) brought out various special guests (Kanye West, New York’s very own Ja Rule and Juelz Santana) and made numerous references to his love for marijuana (an interest that the crowd seemed to share as well).
It seems that music fans' worst nightmare prayers have been answered! Socialite and famous for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING personality, Paris Hilton, is determined to make an impact on today's music scene.
She announced earlier this year she's been hard at work on a new album, which we are all sure will be a masterpiece, just like the rest of her previous work. Paris is going for an electro/pop sound and who better to catapult her singing career than world famous DJ and rumored (ex) boyfriend, Afrojack, who is currently producing tracks for her new album. Not only does she plan to bless music fans with her vocals, she's also preparing to become a disc jockey and has been cast to play the lead female in K-Pop singer Kim Jang Hoon's next music video.
Season 11 of American Idol concluded with Phillip Phillips being awarded a record deal and left fans wondering which musical acts/executives would occupy the show’s judge panel in the future. After two seasons, international pop superstar, Jennifer Lopez, and legendary rocker, Steven Tyler, decided that they no longer wanted to be a part of the highly-rated singing competition.
Ever since the announcement was made, numerous celebrities have reportedly been in serious talks with Idol producers to serve as judges for the upcoming season. In late June, Fox announced that they agreed to terms with multi-platinum, former R&B diva, Mariah Carey, to serve as a judge for at least one season. Her deal is reportedly worth a whopping $18 million. Apparently the network was willing to hand over whatever amount the singer demanded, despite her faded star status. The move was seen as a desperate attempt to revive the American Idol brand, which was at one point a highly respected singing competition between undiscovered, raw talents and Fox’s cash cow.
Us Weekly has recently debunked rumors that Demi Moore's daughters are going to serve her with a restraining order.
Her three daughters, Rumer 23, Scout 21, and Tallulah Willis 18, are currently not on speaking terms with Moore, but are not ready to completely cut her out of their lives.
Moore, who has relocated from L.A. to Idaho, has kept a low profile since her stint in rehab in February after her tearful split with husband Ashton Kutcher.
Though reports of a restraining order are untrue, the girls are not quite ready to let their mother back in their lives. Demi's relationship with Scout is especially strained according to US Weekly. The issues between the daughters and Demi are reportedly due to the girls' closeness with their mother's philandering soon-to-be ex. Demi has insisted that they sever ties with Ashton, but the girls have remained close to the Two and a Half Men star, regardless. Rightfully, Demi is hurt by their relationship with Kutcher and feels betrayed.
We say Demi needs to finalize the divorce and move on 100%. Until she does that, she'll remain tormented.
Chris Brown’s album “Fortune” dropped on July 3rd. Even with rave reviews it seems like the “Turn Up the Music” singer can’t shy away from controversy.
We won’t even bring up the Rihanna 2009 incident.
Well... maybe mention it a bit ONLY because it seemed that after the horrific incident occurred Chris was dedicated to the fixing his public image, proving that looks indeed can be deceiving. In recent weeks Chris has been associated with a violent club fight with “Take Care” rapper, Drake.
About a month ago media outlets were blazing about Chris and Rihanna attempting to get back together. Well, so much for their reconciliation! Last night Chris Brown released a REMIX to Kanye West's song 'Theraflu' a.k.a 'Way Too Cold.' In Theraflu Kanye West put everyone on blast including Kim Kardashian’s ex, Kris Humphries, and everyone who tried to get with is ex- Amber Rose.
But in Breezy's remix, shots were fired at Rihanna! In the song, Chris basically calls Rihanna a ho! But for what? Well, in the past few months Rihanna has been linked to a bunch of people, including Ashton Kutcher, Drake, NFL star Darren McFadden and rapper Meek Mills! Being that Chris Brown is still with his long time girlfriend Karrueche, why does it bother him so much that Rihanna is enjoying her single life?!
Serena Williams is taking a break from dating. The internet is buzzing with reports that the tennis champ has sworn of dating for the next decade. Williams is notorious for dating hip-hop artists, most famously Common and Drake. She wants to take a break to also focus on herself and her sport but we can not help but feel that avoiding heartbreak is a big reason why she wants to stay out of relationships for now.
Confessing to Celebuzz, “I have given up on dating. It just hasn’t worked out well for me. I’m a really emotional person. I give my all and everything. I do make mistakes — like every human does — but the last relationship just was too much of a heartbreak for me. I just can’t go through that anymore. It was hard.”
We hope you do not give up on love girl, just stay clear of the rappers, maybe that will help!
Well this is different...not surprising, but different.
For those of you whom are unfamiliar with the site AshleyMadison, it is a dating site where you can find someone to cheat on your significant other with. Yes, this site actually exists and it has assisted over 7,000,000 cheaters.
The sleazy site has recently started a search for anyone who can prove that NFL Quarterback and devout evangelical Christian, Tim Tebow, isn't a virgin. No, this is not a joke. The site is offering anyone who can produce real evidence of Tebow in the act an outstanding $1 million! We can only imagine what "real evidence" they are looking for.
Liz Taylor fans all over the world are upset by LiLo being cast as the star of Lifetime's Liz and Dick. In fact, the only people who seem happy with the decision are Lindsay and the movie's producers.
Amongst these unhappy people is former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell. To Lindsay's surprise Rosie spoke out yesterday on The Today Show claiming to be disturbed at the idea of Lindsay playing the role of film icon, Liz Taylor. She also thinks the star needs to spend time putting her life back together before worrying about her career.
