Aaaah the wonderful world of dating and being single. It seems no matter what part of the country (or world) men are from, they tend to make the same mistakes when it comes to dating. While I'm sure women do some pretty obnoxious things as well, this piece is for all the guys out there. From a woman's perspective --here's what you're doing wrong. While the rising temperatures in the DC area may keep tourists wandering around museums all summer, locals know that it means to look forward to nighttime outdoor activities, such as the Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival. The festival runs May through September, projecting a film on a large screen every Friday. The theme of this year's festival is "SNL in the Movies" and this Friday, June 3rd, the Will Ferrell classic, Anchorman, is on the agenda.
The films begin at 8:00 PM, but most movie-goers arrive early to picnic and secure a good viewing spot. Some people opt for standard picnic fare of sandwiches and pasta salads, but it's a Friday night, so why not make an event of it and match your menu to the film?
