Will Ferrell anchored the KXMB evening news in Bismarck, North Dakota as his Anchorman character Ron Burgundy on November 30. Ferrell stayed in character throughout the newscast as he co-anchored alongside Amber Schatz, who could hardly keep a straight face.
Ferrell, as Burgundy, did stray from the news a couple of times such as leaning in to Schatz’s shot as she was reading the news and asking her if she was married. While the rising temperatures in the DC area may keep tourists wandering around museums all summer, locals know that it means to look forward to nighttime outdoor activities, such as the Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival. The festival runs May through September, projecting a film on a large screen every Friday.
