Electric Zoo makes its triumphant return to its original location, NYC's Randall’s Island Park this Labor Day Weekend (August 30-September 1st) for three days of the world's best in electronic music. To celebrate E Zoo’s fifth anniversary there will be two main stages on expanded festival grounds—which can only mean more confetti, more music, and more fun. The two stages, designated Main Stage West and Main Stage East, will have headliners such as Avicii, Knife Party, Dada Life, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Laidback Luke and others yet to be announced. This year there will be a total of five stages in addition to the two main stages for all you zoo animals out there to choose from.

Having touched down on ten of its twelve world-wide destinations, the expedition lowered the landing gear last week in preparation for its final two shows. This Valentine's Day marked the start of something spectacular. While most were fretting about dates and love-me-nots, trance fans around the world were buzzing with anticipation for Armin van Buuren's A State of Trace 600 Expedition Tour, which was set to kickoff in Madrid on the day of love. With thousands of clubgoers eager to celebrate, and an eight hour live broadcast ready to reach millions around the world, Armin and his exceptional lineup of talent broadcasted the culmination of twelve years of A State of Trance with its 600th episode and began the Expedition Tour with a bang.
On the live broadcast of A State of Trance episode 583, Armin van Buuren, donning his "New York State of Mind" shirt, announced the first cities that his legendary ASOT 600 celebration would pass through. Trance fans around the world tuned in, hoping that their months of campaigning had paid off; sure enough, after waiting almost a full two hours, Armin announced New York City as one of the coveted six parties, and fans around the Northeast exploded with excitement.It's safe to say Armin has been spoiling the city that never sleeps every week since then. With fans still reveling in the afterglow that was New Year's Eve with the trance king himself, Armin has been teasing us with announcements and tidbits in anticipation of the ASOT Expedition that will make its way around the globe, beginning this Valentine's Day in Madrid. From debuting the tour's anthem, an epic collaboration between Armin and Markus Schulz, to the revealing of Madison Square Garden serving as NYC's venue, Armin has managed to increase the excitement on a weekly basis. Finally, on this week's episode, the last remaining piece of information has been revealed, with Armin announcing the full lineup for the minifestival that will take over Madison Square Garden and beyond. Pier 36 was set with all the makings to deliver a New Year's Eve to remember. Joonbug's production team partnered with the monstrous warehouse venue just off the Hudson River to create an environment that was well-suited for the evening's events. Tyler Sherritt, Steve Powers, Jerome Isma-AE and Jochen Miller comprised the lineup of support to surround Armin's four hour set, and brought with them a spread of diverse sounds and a varied fanbase to add to the dimension of the night.
