BACKSTREET BOYS
It's a baby for a Backstreet Boy!
Former boy-bander A.J. McLean, 34, and wife Rochelle DeAnna Karidis announced they are expecting their first child together on Sunday.
Announcing the news through YouTube, McLean said, “I just wanted to say thank you guys for all your love and support. We recently got married— I was the most recent Backstreet Boy to take the plunge.” He then said, “Because we love you all so much, we wanted to share with you—for the first time—something very special. We’re having a baby!

Joonbug: So you started DJing really young. How did you get started?
Ever had one of those days where you felt like you could not keep your head up? Where you couldn’t keep smiling, because every minute it felt like someone was slapping off that smile? I have, and thankfully, there are a few go-to tracks to help me though.
Nicki Minaj knows how to keep a girl’s head up! I’ve been blasting “Superbass” this week, a huge hit off of Pink Friday. There’s something about the fun beat, the quick rhymes and the catchy chorus that puts me at ease and erases my sorrows. Negativity leaves my head and my only thought is “I want to dance!”
Beyoncé Knowles. Gifted vocalist, music superstar extraordinaire, Grammy winner, actress, designer, ...boy band entrepreneur?
We can only imagine what goes on inside the insanely creative brain of Beyoncé. Not only is the proud mommy-to-be one of the biggest music acts in the entire world, now she wants to expand her empire even more by starting her own record label! Is there anything she can't do?
Also, this past Wednesday, Knowles, just one of her many jobs, Beyoncé recently launched her third perfume Pulse in New York. This is her third fragrance, previous ones were named Heat and Heat Rush. The product is now in stores and available for purchase.
Say what you want about Justin Bieber, but how many of you have walked away with the “Artist of the Year” award? The teen star took home several awards at the American Music Awards Sunday night, including artist of the year, which he beat out his friend Usher for. Bieber also took home the award for “Favorite Male Artist.”
Don’t feel bad, Usher won the “Best Soul/R&B Male Artist and Album,” while Rihanna won for female in the same category. Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift won for best male and female country artists and favorite band went to the Black Eyed Peas.
The American Music Awards will take place in Los Angeles Nokia Theatre on November 21 at 5.00PM. I'm afraid the price of the tickets looks horribly expensive. Check out the list of the live performers !
Kid Rock, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Carlos Santana, Gavin Rossdale, New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys (wait.. what ???), Rihanna, Ne-Yo & Sean "Diddy" Combs, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, Pink, Usher.
Who said kids rule the world because of their parents visa ? Go tweet little bird ! The voting period is closed now. The show will be on ABC.
For more than 16 years, Backstreet Boys have delivered the very finest pop music has to offer! They return to New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on August 26. Go to Joonbug's Facebook wall and post your favorite Backstreet Boys memory for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the concert!
The Backstreet Boys, or what's left of them at least, will be at the American Airlines Arena this Saturday, May 29 for what's sure to be the best concert you've seen since middle-school; you know, the last time you saw the Backstreet Boys.
The BBs (a little nickname I just made up, not bad right?) have been touring as a four-piece ensemble since 2007 when original member Kevin Richardson called it quits. No need to fret though, there's enough Nick Carter and the other three (you know, what's-his-name and the other guy) to make up for it.
If you're interested or if you just feel like being a 12 year-old again for the night, there are still tickets available at ticketmaster and stubhub.com
The MAC at Monmouth University kicks off its inaugural summer next Thursday with a nearly sold-out performance from Alice In Chains. Locals The Parlor Mob open, and tickets are on sale now!
Fans of the Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees have been deprived of a good boy band for years. However, the wait it seems has come to an end thanks to band members Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Jonathan Gill and Oritse Williams of JLS. The four young men hail from Britian where they got their start from reality talent show "The X Factor." Although they were runners up, the group was noticed by Epic Records and signed quickly after. While in Britain they made quite the name for themselves and a fan base to brag about. Their fist self titled album went triple platinum and single "Beat Again" made it to #1 on the UK Singles Chart.
