As covered in Time Out NY, the boutique offers in-season designer goods from Prada, Fendi, Tod's, Burberry, Jimmy Choo, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, and more. Savings average about 20% off what you would normally pay. We were a little confused as to how this was possible --we always assumed we had to pay full retail for our designer goods! According to the owner, all items are 100% authentic and the key to their business is that they import their goods "duty-free" from overseas in small quantities, passing the savings on to their customers (which apparently includes celebs in-the-know). As described on their site: "We travel throughout Europe to bring you current authentic merchandise from top highend designers. We keep our over head low so we can offer you the lowest price possible. Visit us often as new styles are always arriving."

As announced Friday in WWD, the latest face to front a Balenciaga fragrance campaign is none other than Kristen Stewart. And it seems Stewart was natural choice for the design house.
“[The actress] is the perfect choice as she embodies Nicolas Ghesquiere’s unique vision for the second chapter in our fragrance history”, boasts Balenciaga CEO Isabelle Guichot. Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquiere adds that Stewart “...embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence."
And if anyone should know, it would be Ghesquiere. The pair has previously worked together in 2006, during a project which was shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber. The actress has also been dressed in Ghesquiere's creations throughout the years, during red carpet and other events.
Winter is officially over, so really, there's no need for those dreary black clothes anymore. (Uh-hm, New York?) Yes, we're guilty of too much black as well, so don't feel bad. Memorial Day weekend starts tomorrow so now is the perfect time to spring into summer with a lighter wardrobe.

Only $89 for that Urban Expressions handbag and that is no fairytale! Along with the stacked buckled strapped wedges for $182, there are other bargains, if $182 is just not going to come out of that wallet. Try the light grey suede wedges next to the ones that are much desired, but just not in the right price range neighborhood. The grey suede wedges have that modern-futuristic sleek look. If this doesn’t give enough description, dash on over to Liv and those wedges will scream out, “take me home with you”!
Balenciaga gave retailers and editors an up-close look at their Fall collection this morning in their Paris showroom. The silk and faux leather black jacket and vests that opened Balenciaga’s Paris show last week were among the other Fall must-haves. The vests will retail for $10,000, but the 7-pound jacket most likely will not be produced.
Among the handbags and surprisingly heavy outerwear was a product category new to Balenciaga- dog leashes and collars! These new designs were inspired by designer Nicolas Ghesquiere’s chocolate Labrador named Fred, and will be available in rose, yellow, green, and orange come this Fall. Made from calfskin and vegetal leather, the leashes and collars will retail between $275 and $295. Now, all we need is a dog…
