As many of you know, July is Good Beer Month. So make sure you ONLY DRINK GOOD BEER now and always, obviously. In fact, it was Mayor Bloomberg who officially proclaimed July to be Good Beer Month (GBM) back in 2009. Check out the slew of events happening this week and through the weekend in celebration of GBM. See a full list here.
Celebrating tomorrow, is South Street Seaport with a good ol’ beer fest. The museum is hosting authors, beer bloggers, and filmmakers that they consider to be changing the world of craft beer. The evening will include over two hours of beer tastings and discussions.
Whether it’s to wile away the minutes during a particularly robust pre-game sesh, or in an attempt to osmotically induce the bacchanal-spirit during a party-lull; cinema is a natural catalyst for inciting debaucherous impulses. Hollywood is rife with films detailing, exploring, and championing decadence in all forms, yet the true gems are defined by their capacity to amplify one’s own nocturnal ambitions. By elevating one’s own desire to rage, a true masterpiece of party cinema can synergistically coax further mayhem from the embers of an otherwise nondescript evening.

Varying in size from 40oz-80oz, das boot is a legend amongst men. While its reputation certainly precedes it, one must ask: how does one effectively incorporate das boot into a night of casual revelry?
The answer, friends: impossible. Unleashing this frothy leviathan on unsuspecting masses forcibly conscripts any and all involved into immediate binge drinking. This glass “slipper” ensures a fairytale ending of rapid intoxication, and the correspondingly brutal hangover. Therefore, one may now be asking: what would possess someone to attempt the Everest of all drinking endeavors?
Another week, another burdensome balancing act between responsibility and respectability. Alas, the weekly forecast of bombast and revelry is hot off the press, providing that beacon of hope for those in the sluggish trenches of the work week.
Naturally, a healthy dose of variety is the only means of realistically combating the slow, steady grind of that ole millstone called "responsibility". Here is your cure, one day at a time!
