BERGDORF GOODMAN
Although we hate to admit, we guys put a lot of effort into our everyday looks but sometimes we do get sartorially stumped. For the times when you need a little extra help in putting together the day’s look, we’ve compiled a list of 10 must-read menswear blogs to give you that extra boost of inspiration.
1. Munrowe: Justin Livingston, the editor behind the blog Munrowe, isn’t afraid of incorporating color, print, man jewelry and murses into his every day look. Based in NYC, Justin uploads a different look almost everyday and they’re always spot-on. With a style that ranges from hobo-esque to dapper dandy, Justin provides inspiration for gents of all styles. An interesting feature about Justin’s blog is that he has a bunch of great giveaways that you can enter to win.
Although Fashion Week is officially over, we’re expecting to see brand new Fall 2012 collections from many other style savvy brands for weeks to come. Last night was a perfect example. J Brand Jeans celebrated the launch of their premiere ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2012, hosted by Bergdorf Goodman’s celebrated 5F contemporary floor. If you’re looking for good style or a place to showcase your good style after fashion week—it’s at events like these. Not only did Bergdorf enlist popular fashion bloggers Kimberly Pesch from eat.sleep.wear and Natalie Suarez from Natalie Off Duty to attend wearing pieces from the new J. Brand collection, they brought all of their fashionable friends with them.
Can you believe there was once a time without the internet, Twitter, and Facebook? One has to wonder, how in the world did we manage to communicate effectively before the internet and cell phones? What advances we've made, and last night was a stark reminder of how far we've come. The 3rd Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards honored the technological leaps and bounds throughout the fashion industry. From great blogs, to great Facebook pages, to great websites; fashion lovers, techies, designers, and more came out to celebrate fashion online.
If you love fashion as much as we do, you know that nothing—absolutely nothing—beats meeting your favorite fashion icons in person. It’s something about coming face to face with the individual that inspires you and shaking the hands responsible for the concept and creation of your most coveted wardrobe piece. That half-rockstar half-role model moment is absolutely irreplaceable. These are the fruitions of fashionista daydreams. Imagine the excitement pulsing through the second floor shoe boutique at Bergdorf’s as the stiletto savvy crowd lined up for the ultimate designer spoil: a personal autograph from Mr. Louboutin himself.
As cliché as it sounds- it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Even scientifically speaking- shopping produces endorphins- our happiness drug; is there any other time that we shop more than just before Christmas? That, paired with the out-of-this-world adverts kindly created by NYC classics like Henri Bendel and Saks Fifth Avenue, have us practically eating out of the palm of their deliciously gorgeous, string-lit, ornament-strewn, hand. But before any holiday purchases are made, some window shopping is in order. The window displays of NYC are a little piece of magic created intricately for anyone who still believes in Christmas. And while yes, it’s a ploy to get you inside, you can still enjoy the beauty for what it’s worth- and maybe score some incredible stocking stuffers (Think Bendel bangle or Serendipity-esque gloves from Bloomies).
Many shops all over the country decorate for the coming holiday season. Festive displays of red and green, tiny trees, Santa Claus and presents make their way into nearly every store we walk into for the next month. In New York, however, window displays are something to marvel at. Each year designers and artists compete in an elaborate flourish of skill to create the most beautiful window displays of the year. They’re a well known, if a little unconventional, tourist attraction for those visiting the city in the winter.
It has been revealed that Tom Ford, the latest designer to announce plans of branching out into the beauty and makeup micro-sphere, will launch his beauty collection in stores November 1st and will only be sold exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus!

The devastatingly glamorous collection features eye colors, lipsticks, nail lacquers and more, all in a stunning array of shades that would make even the most-seasoned makeup professional swoon.
Hey ladies, it's bank-robbing time again. Apparently, this $2,750 Alexander McQueen Feather Fringe Skull Clutch is worth it, because it's currently on backorder at Bergdorf Goodman --along with all the other box clutches!
Uh-hm, what recession?
Alexander McQueen has an entire line of these sinfully expensive, gorgeous clutches. McQueen has done a great job of making the signature box style incomparable. There's not really any other less expensive version on the market. So if you want one, you're just going to have to drop the $2k+. That is, if you can find one!
Gentlemen, this season you've really got your work cut out for you. From bright colored chinos to espadrilles (you'll see what we mean in a bit) and all the way to mixing and matching zaney patterns, there are enough trends this summer to make your head spin! Thankfully, we here at Joonbug created a comprehensive guide to this season's biggest trends, how to pull them off, and even linked you up with where to buy them.
Who sits around drooling over a $3,095 pair of Christian Louboutin 'Fifi' crystal-encrusted pumps? We do. (And you probably do too!) Which is why these are quintessential 'Shoppers Anonymous' material.
If you could take a fairytale princess and make her into a pair of shoes , she would be these. Yes, Princess Grace in the form of a shoe! Louboutin mesmerizes us with hundreds of sparkling crystals, an open toe padded sole, and four inch heel. These are truly shoes from the heavens. Christian is a shoe God.
