We all want that sun-kissed, “just got back from the beach” tan, however, we don’t want the harmful effects that can come with the sun’s damaging UV rays. That’s why the invention of sunless tanning lotion has become a huge craze. It’s a brilliant way of getting a tropical glow, but not so brilliant when it leaves you streaky and orange! Some products are definitely better than others and the worst way to find this out is through trial and error. That’s why we have already done the hard work for you! Here are our top 5 self-tanning products to help you get the golden look quickly and safely!
Dutch dance producer Erik van den Boom just released his Take It EP on iTunes via Armada Music. Making beats under the moniker Erik Arbores, the 14-year-old has captivated the ears of electronic listeners with his surprising aptitude behind the knobs.
He's not keeping his genius to the music world, either. The prodigy is studying Technical Physics at the University of Delft while promoting his new record. While it sounds like a crazy balancing act to perform at such a young age, Van den Boom finds the time to devote himself to music.
"I just can't live without it," he said in a press release.
You can check out Take It right here and listen to "Bliss" below. Makes you think, what were you doing at 14?
Finding the perfect reasonably priced, trend forward dress is a lot harder than it seems. Trying to find that dress on the iconic Melrose Avenue where there are over forty stores to chose from, is even more of a challenge. While Melrose has a ton of stores, there are really only four or five that are my go to stores: Chantell, Angel, Paper Doll and now Bliss.
I've been to Bliss twice now and each time I've found four or five cute outfits. Most of the dresses in the store range between $40 to $60. I can't speak for all girls but it seems whenever I have an event to attend - whether it's a friend's birthday party or a summer BBQ - I can never find that one killer dress that really stands out. (You know the one I'm talking about, it's short, cute and fits you perfectly in all the right places.) It's that dress that when you enter a room everyone's eyes are drawn to you. It's the dress that even though you haven't lost five pounds, you feel like you have in that dress. Those are exactly the kind of dresses you'll find at Bliss.
My favorites among their recent collection are a slim fitting dress by T-S that comes in black and in white and has jewels on the shoulders and a scoop back. If you get this dress in white invest in some commando underwear (laser cut underwear that doesn't show lines) and some nipple covers. Another favorite of mine among their collection is a silk, black, sleeveless romper with ruffles along the top of the romper by Lani. Pair this romper with stiletto heels and your legs will shine. For something a little more conservative but still really pretty consider this really flattering thin blue dress with a black bow that ties in back by Piko. This dress lays just right because the fabric is so thin.
Unlike some stores on Melrose, the staff at Bliss is not in your face. They may make a suggestion or two on how to improve an outfit of theirs but they won't push themselves on you. And their recommendations, whether it's adding a belt or a pair of earrings, are usually dead-on and really do make the outfit pop.
Next time you're looking for that perfect, sexy dress for an affordable price stop by Bliss. If you don't feel blissful about your purchases upon leaving, I'll be surprised.
