Bold kohl lined eyes took centre stage on many catwalks this season. From Bottega Veneta’s delicate 60s flick to Moschino’s smoky kohl. There is only one way to wear your eyes this season and that is BLACK.
To emulate Moschino use both a black eyeliner pencil and a highly pigmented eye shadow. Dampen a shadow brush, and sweep the shadow onto your upper lid blending any harsh edges. To get the Moschino 'triangle' extend the shadow outwards at the far corner and up take it up in an incline towards the brow. Keep a cotton ball handy to rectify mistakes! Finally, use the black pencil to line under the eyes and smudge.
They say that the eyes are the window to the soul. If that's so, what does that make Bottega Veneta's new eyeball jewelry line? The window to a depleted bank account?
Refinery29 gave us a first look today at the new, and slightly creepy, line of Bottega Veneta accessories. Even though it's somewhat out of character for the high-end brand, we are absolutely loving their new dark side. Extremely unique and eerily romantic, the collection consists of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and brooches all adorned with the same mysterious eye guaranteed to catch a few glances.

As red hot star Mila Kunis promotes her latest film opposite Justin Timberlake, Friends With Benefits, we all benefit by learning a little bit more about the celebrity's sense of fashion. From the ditzy girl next door Jackie in That '70s Show to a crazed ballerina in Black Swan, the Ukrainian beauty has been proving her versatility for a considerable amount of time for such a young talent. In the public eye since the early 90s, appearing in print ads and commercials for Mattel's Barbie, Guess girls and even a small role on popular soap opera Days of our Lives. In 1998, Mila Kunis was cast in Fox's That '70s Show, playing Jackie Burkhart at the young age of 14. Growing up on camera and behind the scenes as well, Kunis began to lend her vocal cords as the voice of Meg Griffin on Fox Broadcasting Company's Family Guy, a gig she still has 12 years later.
During last night’s MTV Movie Awards, we saw all of our favorite celebrities decked out in their best Award-worthy outfits. We saw everything from ball gowns to mini dresses to even rompers, and we loved them all (for the most part!). Some of the major trends highlighted were lace, animal print, and metallic designs. Here are our top 15 favorite looks from this year’s event...
1. Selena Gomez’s Giambattista Valli-designed look topped our list. The Disney starlet opted for light, summery-toned separates and a clutch designed by Cecilia. She told MTV's red carpet reporter and Project Runway alum Christian Siriano that as soon as she saw the trendy, but age-appropriate look, she was sure it the one!
It's that time again -a succession of Summer boutique sales! This could be the best or most terrifying time of the year, depending on how you look at it. These sales are not for the faint of heart. Or the hoarders. Or those currently in shopper's rehab. We don't condone addictions here at Joonbug! Ok, liability release, done.
So let's get to the juicy part -shopping! And not just ordinary shopping, but deeply discounted designer shopping! Our little hearts sing and our bank accounts groan, but these are sales we just can't pass up. So without further ado, here are a slew current and upcoming designer boutique sales, courtesy of (awesome researcher) Mizhattan.com:
Purses are like shoes- you can never, ever, ever have enough! The main reason we feel this way is because there are just so many incredible bags out there on racks of posh boutiques, just waiting to make their way onto your arm. Beyond The Rack is definitely fueling our addiction today, as they unveil three new boutiques that are loaded with incredible bags and wallets! Here are our top picks from each boutique:
1. Balenciaga is a brand that very, very rarely goes on sale, so we're especially excited about it! Balenciaga's wide variety of bags are priced hundreds below their original retail price, and they seem to be going fast! We love the Classic Pompon Bag In Papeete ($1200, left)

Dress your arms in bangles, add red lips, and an extra layer of mascara and you are ready for a night out. Date night with the guy who has seen you in all of your cutest outfits? He probably won’t notice your garment if you accessorize with a multi-strand faux pearl necklace and an over-the-top cocktail ring. Suddenly your look is transformed and your guy won’t know what hit him.
My latest subway ventures have been crammed with the scrutiny of first dates, casual flirtation and expressions of interest amongst a range of riders. The most recent, a heterosexual pair sharing a daunting soire of practices inside the restroom. As I tirelessly blocked the thorough descriptions (an upshot to eavesdropping) our joint exit off the train exposed a curvy body burrowed cuddled by a leather bomber, skin fixed denim and appalling sneakers, which praised his outsized blue stripe tailor oxford and very saggy jeans. As her body language showed uncertainty to ending the night at his home, I couldn’t help but question, have American citizens given up on first dates? Does the way one carry themselves on a date, allow the inexcusable?
