Singer Brandy is engaged! The 33-year-old diva is engaged to her beau, Ryan Press, who she went public with last New Year's Eve. Brandy revealed the exciting news earlier this week while vacationing with her fiance in Hawaii. She and her music executive love, were pretty serious about the relationship before the engagement, even Brandy confessed to People magazine earlier this year that she would marry him with a bubblegum ring.

Cap'n Barbossa:
8-12oz Green Apple Soda (Jones soda preferred)
1 shot of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
Lime peel
Cinnamon stick
Mix Green Apple Soda and Rum in a tall glass, garnish with cinnamon and lime peel. If cinnamon stick is not an option, add a small pinch of cinnamon to the drink
Traditionally, vodka is distilled from grains such as corn, rye, or wheat, or potatoes. But the new COMB Vodka, made in Port Chester, New York is distilled from honey.
So why choose honey? Honey has just as many different flavor characteristics as grapes; it can be floral and fruity and has a natural sweetness that lends itself to a smooth finish when in alcohol form.
Despite being made from honey, Comb Vodka doesn't have an overwhelming or cloying honey flavor. The nose is full and has more of a secondary honey aroma, while the flavor is smoother and rounder, yet still light and infused with hints of citrus blossoms. Surprisingly, the vodka is not nearly as sweet as expected, making it perfect to drink alone or in a cocktail.
Ne-Yo got more than just a little support Sunday, Nov. 21, during his black carpet affair in Avalon Hollywood. The R&B singer and producer was joined by friends at his VEVO and Compound Entertainment sponsored show and after party. The Ne-Yo and Friends Party started off with some Moet and Chandon champagne and ended with some collaborative surprise performances.
Diddy came out to perform It’s All About the Benjamins and Mo Money Mo Problems. Even Jamie Foxx was pressured to join the stage. Ne-Yo’s band started playing She Got Her Own and it was all over for the actor. Ne-Yo also took pictures with fans during a Kelly Rowland performance and Keri Hilson fooled everyone. Acting quite sly and stating she was just there to enjoy, the singer popped out of her seat a moment later with microphone in hand to collaborate Knock You Down.
Sisters Jenny and Heather Goldberg are cooking up something good in West Hollywood. The two expert chefs are the masterminds behind Spork Foods. A demonstration-based class, it teaches students to create kinder, vegan versions of classic (and some not-so-classic) dishes.
They're on a mission to prove that vegan cuisine has “grown up” to become as sexy and sophisticated as omnivorous food: Jenny and Heather show you how to prepare a four-course meal boasting delicacies like beer soaked figs stuffed with vegan ricotta, melted “cheese” fondue with assorted crostini, and chocolate orange pots de crème with brandy. Each class takes a little over two hours and costs $60.
The popular Dancing with the Stars show has announced the 12 celebrities that will compete in this year's competition. The new lineup will include Brandy, Jennifer Grey, comedian Margaret Cho, Audrina Patridge, Mrs. Brady Florence Henderson, Bristol Palin (seriously), NFL Quarterback Kurt Warner, Disney Channel's Kyle Massey, ex-NBA Champion Rick Fox, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Michael Bolton and David Hasselhoff.
It will be interesting to see the Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey hit the stage once again. It will also be entertaining if some of The Hills cast will show up in the audience to cheer on Patridge. Do you think Speidi will come for support? Highly doubtful. For publicity, yes.
Dancing with the Stars' eleventh season will premiere on Monday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
It looks like karma is beginning to knock on Chris Brown's door. Earlier this week Brown and rapper Bow Wow showed up uninvited to a listening party for Drake's album Thank Me Later, which was hosted by the Cash Money team. After their rude intrusion, Breezy and Bow Wow headed over to the Meatpacking club SL. The dynamic duo was turned away at the door by security...burn. They figured the next best thing would be to party with Ray-J and Brandy at Greenhouse. Maybe you should think twice before raising your hand to a lady, Chris.
Since 1994, Brandy has been providing fans with melodies that compliment her unique voice. Between the “The Boy is Mine” and “Sitting on Top of the World”, she has sung at least one song that could play on the soundtrack to all our lives and although it’s been four years since we’ve reminisced to a new release, Brandy has put an end to the wait.
While her popularity is through the roof, recognition for her talent and longevity has often been too minimal. Since her involvement in a fatal car crash and her recent separation from her longtime label, Brandy has been constructing and perfecting Human, her 5th studio album released, today, December 9th.
It seems to be the season for comebacks. Following Britney’s lead, pop artist Brandy is attempting to revive her career with a new album and tour after four years away from the spotlight. Following her fall from the top of the charts to the bottom of celebrity gossip, Brandy’s climb to number one is a much anticipated feat in the upcoming year. It’s been reported that the R&B singer is eager to reconnect to her music and her fans, and is getting her inspiration from the daily journal she scribbled in for the last four years. After a fabricated marriage, a failed marriage and a car accident with a tragic ending, we’re hoping Brandy gets the appreciation she deserves with her upcoming album, Human due out December 9th.
