This past Saturday, the Canal Room celebrated the opening of its second location in Southampton. Their debut weekend featured a 'Back to the 80s' show with Rubix Kube and a 'Save by the 90s' party hosted by Saved by the Bell's Screech (a.k.a Dustin Diamond), along with a live performance by the Bayside Tigers.
Canal Room Southampton offers up live music performances, themed events, billiard and arcade games, signature cocktails, and a spacious location that accommodates up to 800 people. The original Canal Room is a landmark in the city that never sleeps, welcoming notable celeb guests like Jay-Z, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Mark Sanchez, and more.

Once again we find ourselves at the end of another NYC summer. As usual, everyone is complaining it went by too fast. This particular summer we survived a wicked heat wave, earthqauke, unusual amount of rainfall, and a hurricane to top it all off. I'd say we have earned a little time to let loose and enjoy the last official weekend of summer. Canal Room is the most exclusive venue for live music shows and is the perfect place for music fans to enjoy and to listen to acoustic music. This Friday, July 16 Canal Room presents music featured by Future Relative, Nyle & the Naysayers and Ariel Lask. The show will start at 8:00 P.M, but get there a half hour early when the door opens to secure a good spot. Canal Room is a guaranteed good time, so rock out all night to talented musicians and keep the drinks coming!

Time to tease your hair, whip out the legwarmers, and get stoked for a radical party. One year ago, Canal Room owner Marcus Linial came up with the idea and created NYC's most authentic 80s experience.
This Saturday, June 5th, the Canal Room will be celebrating the one year anniversary of their "Back to the Eighties Show" with Rubix Kube, the ultimate 80s tribute band. Special guest Old School Rap Icon Rob Base will be sitting in with the band for two very special nights, the opening of their Every Thursday performance , Thursday June 3rd, and their 1 year anniversary party Saturday June 5th. Recent 80s icons such as Katrina of Katrina and the Waves, Bonnie Tyler, and Bret Michaels have all performed with Rubix Kube as special guests.
