CANCELLED
With 10 sold-out concerts on her agenda, Adele has been forced to cancel her upcoming US tour. This marks the second time this year that vocal issues have put a stop to her soulful singing in the States. She was preparing to perform in Atlantic City, New Jersey when she suffered a hemorrhage into her vocal chord and posted an apologetic message on her website.
"Guys, im heartbroken and worried to tell you that yet again im experiencing problems with my voice. its ridiculous i know! i cant believe it myself. i follow all the advice im given and stick to regimes, rules and practices to the best of my ability but it seems to simply not be enough...i apologise from the bottom of my heart, sincerely i do. i know its not only disappointing because of the show, but its plane tickets, hotel bookings, birthdays, anniversaries and time wasted. but please have faith in me that this is the only thing i can do to make sure i can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability. truly yours and yours only forever, adele xx" (Read the full post here.)
We've always had a feeling that there may have been more behind the prominent red gloves and lips at Givenchy's Fall 2010 show. Pure evil, is it?
Apparently, Givenchy wanted an exclusive deal with several models to walk in their show. Most of the models Givenchy hand-picked were cancelled 24 hours before the Sunday show - by way of email.
An anonymous agent claims Givenchy booked 5 of their models without an exclusive fee - just 1500 Euros in payment and press - whilst making the girls pay their own hotel fees. In the email, Givenchy cited a "fit problem," as their reason for cancellation.
