The Carrie Bradshaw fairytale has come to an end. Author, Candace Bushnell, 53, famous for Sex and the City, has filed for divorce from her husband Charles Askegard, 43, after 9 years of marriage. This is probably pretty disappointing news for all the Sex and the City fans who dream of worldwide success and finding love forever with their perfect "Mr. Big" in NYC.
The divorce was confirmed by Bushnell's representatives and papers were filed last Friday, according to The Daily Mail. Bushnell stated 'We had some wonderful times in our nine-year marriage, and I still care about Charles as a person. I respect his desire to pursue his own happiness and hope that we will continue to be friends in the future.'
Could it be? Imagine how Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, & Samantha were in their high-school/college years?

Honestly?...Alright, maybe the Upper Eastsiders - whom she tends to nark on (anonymously) as resident Gossip Girl blogger - aren't her biggest fans. When style queen, Carrie Bradshaw, was seen in Sex and the City sporting a maxi dress oh-so-fabulously, there seemed to be hope but then I remembered I don't work out three times a day like she does and have the ittybitty waist with the curves, which makes her look taller than she really is. [not fair] Some shorter women look beautiful in maxi dresses but I look completely awkward and shortened. Is it just me?

Reports describe the film series more than likey to be dead after the overwhelmingly negative reviews for Sex & the City 2, despite its success at the box office. Sheesh, couldn't the Jurassic Park people take the same hint?
"Fanny pack."
Just saying it, reading it, seeing it, thinking about it used to make us cringe. Complete tourist territory. Well, the term, "fanny pack", has unfortunately built up a negative reputation with the stigmatization of an obnoxious tourist's bag...you know, the guy or girl who wears tropical shirts with a camera around his/her neck, a huge visor with big black sunglasses and without a doubt, the essential fanny pack tied around his/her waist.
Thankfully, there is a 2011-appropriate coined term: the belt purse. (Hallelujah!)
We all saw Carrie Bradshaw wearing it in Sex and the City. She just makes everything look so damn good. Not to mention, she's totally killing that crop top! (another look out for summer `11 must-haves, which also means must-work-out)
