CELEBRITY EVENTS
On the crossroads of Chelsea and the Meatpacking District, this posh lounge truly fits their motto, “one of a kind.” With spacious interior featuring oak ceilings, ostrich leather walls, a roaring fireplace, mirror walled outdoor smoking area, and mazelike floor patterns with an array of VIP tables patronized by celebrities and top models. 1OAK is the place to see and be seen by New York's hottest celebrities.
The owners, Richie Akiva, Scott Sartiano, and Ronnie Madra birthed one of NYC’s hottest nightclubs through over 40 combined years of success with Butter, Lotus, The Park, and G Spa & Lounge. It’s safe to say, these men know how to throw a good party, if you can get in.
The Roman forum it is not. In ancient times, the forum was a place everyone could come into. Don't expect XIX to be as inviting. Fitting into the upper echelons of New York nightlife, XIX will soon become the one of the most celebrity infused and intimate gathering spots this side of Rome. Find your way into the deep red corners of this new A-List nightclub for some of the hottest DJs in New York City.
The Meatpacking District is home to some of New York City's hottest nightclubs and venues. As it starts getting colder at night and the sun begins to set over the Hudson earlier and earlier, we thought you might want to stay on the same block and run from spot to spot while hitting some of the most notable nightclubs in the world. Check it out.

Joonbug's own DJ Lindsay Luv played live at the Victoria's Secret Bombshell Fragrance Launch and was joined in the booth my Supermodel Hosts Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel in Hollywood on Tuesday September 14th!
Lance Bass, Tinsley Mortimer, Olivia Palmero, Kelly Bensimon, Julie Henderson, Russel Simmons, Ciara, Swizz Beats, and Nicky Hilton were among the red carpet guests at the grand opening of Lavo on The Upper East Side. And, it's complete with a dance floor. What could be better? It seems that New York nightlife has a new superstar straight out of the Vegas desert.
Amongst the pink leather handbags, shoulder-hugging tops, cases of neon watches and fall-edition button-up coats, on a stage in the back, underneath the spray-painted moose hanging on the wall, behind the DJ booth, sat a black grand piano and a lone stool surrounded by three acoustic guitars pre-tuned for Metric to perform at the Juicy Couture flagship store on Friday September 10th for the much anticipated Fashion's Night Out.
As the DJ's puffing and pulsing came to a lull, and the crowd of Metric fans and curious shoppers huddled around the low-key, intimate stage, lead singer Emily Haines and guitarist Jim Shaw ascended and smiled, nodding to the crowd, Emily snagging the microphone, Jim the guitar.

For those of you who stand behind the velvet rope in front of the doorman doing your best Megan Foxx pout to get noticed while you try to keep your skirt from rising just to hear the infamous words "we are at capacity." And, as you walk away defeated and heartbroken, you see a huge entourage of lovely ladies being herded in by an attractive guy who is smiling and slapping hands with all the bouncers. Your temper flares and you and your friends say "this club sucks anyway, who wants to be in there?" and settle on a dive bar and later use Yelp to soothe your wounds. Or due to pure perseverance you actually do get in and you have to struggle at the bar for a $17 watered-down drink and then proceed to get pushed and shoved around and end up with half of the booze on your dress and shoes.
