We students, patrons and stewards of the arts are reminded of this tension every year on a now-famous softball diamond in East Hampton, where the two ancient opponents bat off for reign of the Humanities.

The 11:35 spot would be filled by a program hosted by recently departed "Tonight Show" host Jay Leno, whose recent prime time venture was cancelled after less than 6 months. And then things start to get interesting.
