Spring is officially here and it is time to clean out your closet and think of becoming environmentally friendly. Going green has never been easier to do since international fashion giant H&M unveiled their new clothing line and service, entitled H&M CONSCIOUS. Customers can bring their old clothes into an H&M location to have them reused, reworn, or recycled. In return for their old clothes, customers receive a voucher for 15% off an item of their choice for each bag they bring. Customers are only allowed to bring in two bags of clothing per day.
Spring is the perfect time to infuse vibrant color into your look! We here at Joonbug can't think of a better reason to do so than during the celebration of St. Patrick's Day! Whether you're attending a fun bar crawl, your local parade, or a festive party with close friends—it's time to don the green in a big way! So, raise your pint of Guinness, cheers!

It’s been a pretty bad news week for hipsters and scene kids. First the news dropped that hairstyles that cover one eye might probably make that eye lazy over time. Now a slightly predictable knowledge bomb has finally dropped, and it affects, well, just about every fashion sub-culture. The big newsflash? Skinny jeans may not be great for circulation and may cause painful leg problems.
When the weather gets colder, the one thing that doesn't slow down is the shopping. Online shopping becomes the easiest way to buy whatever pops into your head. Plus, you will probably find sales that are exclusively online. Here are a few sites for the guys to stay hooked on.
1. Gilt (gilt.com)
Top notch fashion items 50-75% off daily. It's a different brand on sale everyday starting at 12 noon; but be quick, items sell out in less than a minute. (Sign up is free)
This isn’t a picture of airport security measures making their way into our malls. The 3D body scanner parked outside of a clothing store is there to map out a person’s exact measurements. Think of it as a tailor that uses lasers. Bodymetrics’ new 3D scanner may be the future of clothing shopping. Because different brands tend to size clothing differently, especially women’s clothing, it was a process of trial and error to find the right fit in stores. Those buying online would have to compare size charts and guess at the right size before ordering.

When thinking about Poppy NYC, three things come to mind: girlie, flower power and trendy. Poppy is a vintage-inspired boutique that opened its doors in 2003. Named after owner Leslie McKeown’s obsession with Andy Warhol and popular culture, Poppy mixes both California and New York styles with the help of many household designer names like Splendid, Current/Elliott and Rebecca Minkoff. With only one location, Poppy has conjured up a buzz throughout print publication. Virtually every month it is featured in magazines such as The New York Times Magazine, Nylon and Lucky magazine. Just recently, Lucky magazine named Poppy ‘an institution in NoLita”. This store is the ultimate girlie store.
