Electric Zoo makes its triumphant return to its original location, NYC's Randall’s Island Park this Labor Day Weekend (August 30-September 1st) for three days of the world's best in electronic music. The two stages, designated Main Stage West and Main Stage East, will have headliners such as Avicii, Knife Party, Dada Life, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Laidback Luke and others yet to be announced. This year there will be a total of five stages in addition to the two main stages for all you zoo animals out there to choose from.
MTV named Nicky Romero an EDM artist to watch in 2012 and our eyes have been glued to the Dutch DJ ever since. So when he announced he’d be making his debut performance at Space Miami last Saturday, we jumped on the opportunity to check out the young star in action.
Brought into the electronic music world by mentor David Guetta, the 23-year-old Dutch superstar has already made an impressive name for himself as the next progressive-electro wonderboy. The rising star spent 2012 producing 14 hard-hitting and well-received singles, touring the nightlife metropolises of the world, and topping it off with a Miami New Year’s Eve weekend concert we’ll never forget.

A mainstay in the global EDM scene for several years now, Dada Life has consistently proved a popular force on tour and at festivals. With their rock n’ roll attitude and their raucous energy, the two Swedes have captivated audiences across the world.
Their newest tour, the Dada Land Fall Tour, will see the duo play clubs and arenas in over 30 major cities in both the United States and Canada; with more dates to be announced soon. The two-month adventure will be Dada Life’s biggest tour to date, particularly given the size of some venues they will be playing. As usual expect lots of Champagne and lots of bananas as Dada Life tears up dance floors across North America with their signature hard hitting electro sound.
It was a busy Saturday for music in the Big Apple.
While Identity Festival was taking over Jones Beach with an all-day roster of talent, Pacha NYC was gearing up to host Madeon and Eric Prydz at Beekman Beach Club. And while it’s always good to have concert options, choosing between the 18-year-old prodigy and the 36-year-old mastermind is no easy task for an electro-loving gal... major @ravegrlproblems!
The biggest drop ever? That’s a pretty hefty statement to make in today’s oversaturated market of electronic music. But the champagne-popping, banana-bopping electro-duo Dada Life seems sure that their newest single, “Feed the Dada,” will conquer all other rumbling and roaring drops.
The silly Swedes, Olle & Stefan, are promoting the unreleased track with another one of their ridiculously rambunctious fan videos. Check out the promise of the BIGGEST DROP EVER right here:
Put down your textbooks and pick up your glowsticks because Tiesto’s Club Life College Invasion Tour just earned some extra credit! The Dutch producer announced today that his openers will be electro-superstars Dada Life and Bingo Players.
Could Tiesto have picked better warm up acts? Swedish electro-house duo Dada Life’s champagne-popping, blowup banana tossing antics never fail to get the audience’s blood pumping. And we can't forget the Bingo Players, the Dutch dance-duo whose 2011 skyrocket to stardom stemmed from their massive hits “Cry Just A Little” and “Rattle.”
Twenty-year-old remix master Special Features will take the stage this Saturday at Electric Beach, bringing his massively explosive yet pleasingly harmonious tracks to New York City’s EDM audience. The London-producer Eden Anderson has remixed everyone from Calvin Harris to Deadmau5, taking the crown when he won Dada Life’s remix competition with his progressive-pop remix of Happy Violence.
Check out Special Features’ two most recent tracks, an original collaboration with Michael Brun and his Dada Life remix winner.
