Soon to Open its "Gates"

First it was a gay club called Rome. Then it was the fabulous restaurant called Biltmore Room. And now, the spacious venue at 8th Ave. and 25th will be called The Gates in honor of, you guessed it, the one-time richest man in the world and co-founder of Microsoft. No, actually the name comes from the giant steel (lacking my thesaurus) gates that front this classy establishment.

Set to open in April, The Gates is the brain child of Danny Kane, Redd Stylez and Rod Surut and is supposed to be a “high-end lounge with food.” Said food is going to be “new American Cuisine.”

After dinner, the lights will dim on the marble on marble interior creating a club atmosphere so the bold and the beautiful can become more so.
