COOL SH!T
The Super Hot T-Rex

It’s Spring! The sun is finally out for more than a few hours at a time, trees, however few in the city, are bursting back to life, and the streets are full of spring dresses and pasty shoulders, finally seeing some action after months of hibernation. Just when we finally thought we could stop huddling around our radiators hoping for some warmth, the most awesome heating device in the world was created. We know your eyes are still adjusting to the light, but feast your eyes on the coolest radiator ever the be invented: The Super Hot T-Rex.

COOL SH!T The masthead for Justin and Rheanna's new site.

In case you missed it earlier this summer, a Vancouver couple posted an ad on Craigslist that immediately got the attention of any Jurassic Park lovers.

Vancouver residents Rheanna and Justin just launched www.fuckinrad.com/petdinosaur, where they insist their offer still stands. They list their qualifications, offer news about their job hunt, and take the time to answer common questions, such as "do you guys have a weird dinosaur fetish?" and "are you guys serious?" (The answers, respectively, are "ew, no" and "like the plague!")

If you would like to hire either Rheanna or Justin as a pet dinosaur, you can email petdinosaur@fuckinrad.com.

Dinosaur Jr. Back on Tour This June

Dinosaur Jr. have just announced a six date tour reliving their classic 1988 album, Bug (SST Records). The short concert series will begin in lead singer J Mascis' hometown of Northampton, MA, travel down the east coast for four more dates and end in London at the Alexandra Palace. The tour marks the second reuniting of the original Dino Jr. members, J Mascis (guitar/lead singer), Lou Barlow (bassist/singer) and Murph (Emmett Patrick Murphy - Drums) since 2005, when they re-released their first three albums, Dinosaur, You're Living All Over Me, and Bug (Merge Records) and the single "Freak Scene" (Sweet Nothing).

How Dinosaur Jr. Changed My Life

As with many great things in life, my tenure as an intern at Joonbug had come to a close. Finishing up my last day was almost as difficult to get through as my first one. I was lingering in the office on a Friday evening, putting the final touches on my last Featured Artist Profile, when the editor-in-chief, Kelley Baker, came bouncing up to my workstation (which was quite unprecedented, since she was seated only ten feet away at her own desk) and tapped me on the shoulder.

"You're on the list to see Dinosaur Jr. on the 17th!"
