DJ PAULY D
Feuds between artists are as old as music itself. Platinum metal had its infamous Metallica versus Megadeth contention, 90’s hip-hop had its 2pac versus Biggie gang shootouts. And now that electronic music has come forth as a major player in the american music scene, it’s no surprise that DJs are taking to the conflict game.
We all remember Ultra Music Festival weekend when Deadmau5 called out pop-star turned electro-producer Madonna on Twitter for her slurred “Has anyone seen my friend Molly?” comment. Well, Deadmau5 is once again tweet-fighting, this time with reality TV star-turned DJ Pauly D.
March is upon us, and for electronic music fans in Miami, this month beats out Christmas for the most wonderful time of the year. Because not only does March conclude with the largest dance music festival in the country, but each day leading up to Ultra is also equally rage-worthy.
Miami boasts top electronic acts year-round, but we’re calling the official march madness commencement March 16th - the Winter Music Conference Opening Day.
March 16th offers events for everyone, from pool parties to all-night concerts, you will not want to waste one precious moment of these 24 blissful hours.
Are Britney Spears and Jersey Shore's Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio hooking up? Well no, but this picture would suggest so otherwise!
Actually, this image is taken from a Femme Fatale concert, last night in Montreal. The blonde bombshell looked sexier than ever during a performance of her song "Lace & Leather", which fans now know as a segment in the concert for one lucky guy to receive a lap dance from Britney.
Who's the person did Ms. Spears choose for her special treat? Pauly D, arguably the most likable of the Jersey Shore crew. He joined the tour this Monday (in Boston) as an opening act for both Nicki Minaj & Britney herself and will continue to do so for the rest of the tour.
From romantic little streets to a booze-fueled indoor oasis, DJ Pauly D is bringing the party straight back from Florence, Italy to Atlantic City. The POOL at Harrah's Hotel & Casino is where you want to be on Sunday September 4th. It's Labor Day weekend, which means we say good-bye to this lovely summer. But just because temperatures will finally drop doesn't mean the party is over. Especially not when the Jersey Shore is somehow involved. Although The Jersey Shore's trip to Italy promises more entertainment than any other previous season, watching DJ Pauly D live is likely to top your chart for nightlife fun. Go early and chill by the pool, enjoy some frozen drinks and get ready to party at sundown. Get your tickets here!
The fist pumping was out in full force last Thursday night, as Pauly D from Jersey Shore fame, was spinning at the NYC club Pacha, where the party didn't stop until early Friday morning. The club was packed to the gills with little room to do much but throw your first in the air and in the immortal words of the Jersey shore clan, “beat the beat up."
Pauly came on around 12:45am to an animated crowd who was ready to yell, scream, and support one of their cultural heroes. Dressed in a customized Pauly D DJ jacket, the MTV reality star got the party started right away with his endless list of catch phrases and familiar Italian flag inspired DJ equipment. Club goers ate up every word the DJ spewed out, each with one fist high in the air while the other hand held their camera phones hoping to catch a snapshot of the star. All night, Pauly stood in the DJ booth posing for pictures, making jokes with his friends, and getting on the mic to let the crowd know just who they were partying with. DJ’ing is secondary with him, as Pauly’s celebrity status makes him stand apart from others in his profession, as its more about the spectacle than the actual sound being generated.
Snooki, The Situation, DJ Pauly D, JWOWW and the rest of the cast will be heading to Italy for the season 4 of MTV's show. That's what the network announced on Tuesday.
"While the stateside Jersey Shore locales have become iconic for our audience ... Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us. The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can't wait to see what erupts as a result."
The cast might even stop by Vinny Guadagnino's house (one of the main character) to pay a visit to his relatives and enjoy a Guadagnino style dinner!
The season is set to begin production in the spring over the Atlantic and will air later this year.
Born and raised in Jersey, Steve Powers knew at a young age that he wanted to pursue the entertainment and music culture that the Big Apple had to offer. In college, Steve's aspirations became a reality, as he quickly became the go-to emcee for spring break Acapulco. Today, Steve is one of the most sought after DJ's in the country, performing at the hottest nightclubs in NYC and all over the nation. His music defies the boundaries of any genre or style, which is perhaps why superstars such as Rihanna, Derek Jeter and Leonardo DiCaprio have enjoyed his performances. We were lucky enough to sit down with the man whose incredible energy is able to get anyone on the dance floor.
