A 'Beats By Dr. Dre' Beatdown?

Beats By Dr. Dre have quickly become THE must have accessory for music lovers all over the city. While more of a fashion statement than an aural one, these headphones, often costing almost $300, have not gone unnoticed by muggers either. Whereas smartphones and mp3 players were the bees knees just a few months ago, there has been a startling increase in the number of muggings for a shiny new pair of Beats.

According to a source at the Post, "They’re very hot among thieves... It’s like, ‘I see it. I want it. I can have it. I’m taking it for me, or my sister needs a pair."

Inside Coachella 2012: The Sets, The Sweat, The Party

Hundreds of LED lit balloons marked the sky as we gazed over what had become our home over the past four days. It was the last show, the final push. We were running on fumes and anticipation after a weekend full of countless standout acts. This was the set we had been waiting for since we were fourteen, sneaking Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg CD’s into our sister’s Walkman to memorize every explicit detail of what would become so monumental so quickly. As we stood amongst the masses in complete disbelief, the entire weekend flashed before our eyes.

Day 2 included coverage of the epic Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre set from Sunday night featuring a hologram performance by the departed Tupac Shakur! So eerily real it sent shivers down our spines. Eminem, 50cent, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrik Lamar were also some of the best performances.

Coachella Releases Final Lineup for Weekend 1

Sure it's only days until this year's Coachella in Indio, California, but it's never too late to post a final lineup! This year, the schedule is tight and some hard decisions will have to be made. Do you want to see Radiohead or A$ap Rocky, Avicii or Dr. Dre with Snoop Dog? To tell you the truth, every decision is a good decision when the lineup is as good as it is, but that won't make deciding any easier.
