The Hottest Swimwear Styles
There's nothing like the sunshine and cool breezes off the ocean waters during the summertime. While many of us are still feeling the NYC chill this spring, many a fashionista has visions of warmer weather in their heads. You've already started your juice cleanse, have been kick-boxing since January, jogging along the Hudson, inquired about an organic spray-tan and have been a familiar face at Hot Yoga. Let's share some of our swimwear faves to help kick-off the season. DVF most definitely loves Roxy in a fun, playful and flirtatious swimwear line. This collaboration is like a dream come true! The combination of Diane von Furstenberg's bold prints and the sexy Roxy cuts make this limited edition collection a summertime must. DVF Loves Roxy Knotted Bandeau Bikini Top in Hopscotch Multi won't show your tan lines and is a Joonbug must-have.

Printed swimwear has always been popular but for Summer 2013 swimwear and streetwear meet in digital printed bathing suits. Swimwear by Australia's Black Milk Clothing can help you transition from the beach during the day to the clubs on the shore at night. Our favorite is the Shark vs Mermaid Swimsuit inspired by the infamous opening scene of Jaws and Disney's mermaid princess, Ariel.

Florals are so on-trend this season. This fab bikini by Splendid from Swimspot has a vibrant pop of color that will enhance many skintones! The side hip ties and removable halter strap allows for versatility. Ready to dive in!

Feeling a little flirty? This crochet bikini from Forever 21 in a soft blue will be sure to get you noticed beach-side and poolside We love the eyelet detail at the bust which enhances the bust-line in a flattering way!

Another figure flattering design is this L Space Bikini found at Neiman Marcus! Talk about ultra-cool. This bikini features a neon rocker look that's perfect for having fun in the sun! The grommet detailing on the bottom is sexy.

Perhaps you need a sassy little cover-up to tie your look all together? We are lovin' the Ipanema cover-up from 4drobe. The sexy sides and print have that bohemian feel we crave. This most definitely can transition to the poolside bar for a few refreshing cocktails! The drawstring waist also allows you to the style the piece for an amazing look. Add a few bangle bracelets, shades, Grecian gladiator sandals and you're set for the rest of the day!

Mules Make a Massive Comeback

Back in the day wearing mules signified social status. Because they could simply slip off one’s foot, workers couldn’t wear the shoe, but the privileged males and females who didn’t work, showed off their heels in these backless beauties. Today, wearing mules won’t say much about your social status, but it will denote a certain level of style. Many of the world’s hottest designers are re-establishing the look for today’s fashionistas and we are getting on board!
