Pete Tong's 'Rocktronic Ibiza123' Festival

We’ve heard quite a few announcements of genre-crossing festival’s lately, with Jay-Z’s Made in America and the ever-evolving Lollapalooza. And while I’m definitely a fan of shaking up a festival lineup with a hip-hop artist or two, never in my wildest dreams would I pair EDM with classic rock - a move BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong has boldly made with his “Rocktronic Ibiza123” festival.

Held July 1-3 (as per the name) in the EDM capital of the world, the festival will blend together a band of unlikely couples; picture Elton John with Axwell, Lenny Kravitz with David Guetta, and Sting with Tiesto. Other acts include Basement Jaxx, Tinie Tempah, Pnau, Luciano and Labrinth. Ticket and price information have yet to be released.

Interview: Eric Dill of Click Five Gives us the Scoop on Going Solo

Eric Dill is the former lead singer for the popular band Click Five. He has since ventured out into a solo career and we got a chance to snag him for an interview about his upcoming album. Get the scoop below!

Joonbug: How has it been transitioning from a member of a band to a solo career? What do you like and dislike about it?

Eric Dill: My artistic endeavors, when considered, have always been born of my own volition. I have found players my whole life to perform with but never felt artistically connected or bound to them. My best collaborative efforts are in live performance, songwriting and production and this I enjoy doing a la carte. As an artist, nothing is more deadening than being controlled. To become a music entity beyond myself would be tying my hands and diluting vision.

Mr. Schue Goes Behind the Camera

Attention Gleeks!

Not only can Mr. Schue dance, act, and sing, but now he's showing off his directing skills.

Morrison has definitely proven himself to be a star this year. COOL SH!T Jonathan Ross' Letter
Dear Me: A Letter to My Sixteen Year Old Self

Back in 2009, a group of celebrities were approached by the Elton John AIDS Foundation with the question: “What would you say to your sixteen-year-old self today?” The answers, in the form of letters, were collected in a book immediately afterward, and the profits from its publication went to AIDS research and treatment for the underprivileged.

It has taken a surprisingly long time for excerpts of the book to make its way onto the internet. Luckily, Letters of Note has collected a handful of those letters and posted them online. There are some really wonderful and sincere letters from writers, artists, musicians, and comedians. While each letter writer comes from a different background, the ideas expressed are heart-warmingly sincere and humorous. One of the book’s aims was to show how very similar the thoughts and encouragement of those considered “the greats” would be to our own.

Royal Guest List

Who's invited to the royal wedding? You're not? Don't worry, nor do I and nor do the Obamas, Sarah Ferguson or Lady Gaga... However, the butcher is!

Look who's gonna be there on April 29th

Willem Marx, Kate's ex

Kate is inviting one of her ex boyfriends, how weird is that? Not that weird when we know that William will invite some of his exes as well.

Martin Fidler, Bucklebury's butcher

No, no, this butcher is not particularly close to the family, but Kate's parents wanted to invite some of Bucklebury's shop owners so...

Lady Gaga Is A Godmother

The 63-year-old singer and partner David Furnish became the parents of Zachary last Christmas. And John confirmed that Lady Gaga was the godmother.

The Rocket man dropped by Saturday Night Live this past weekend and let it slip that the Born This Way songstress was the godmother.

"For those of you concerned that we are unusual parents, don't worry," said John. "It's not like we are the only two people involved in the child's life. His godmother is Lady Gaga. That is true. It's not a joke. Lady Gaga is his actual godmother, which is ironic, because I've always said that Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids. And Gaga loves Mars. She says Mars has good schools and great discos."

Elton John Is Going To The Royal Wedding

Elton John and his partner David Furnish will be part of the April 29 Ceremony.

A couple of weeks ago, he was pretty sure that he was not invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. But the singer revealed to Canada's CTV that he received an invitation: "We do have an invitation, but I've been trying to be discreet."

He also shared thoughts about William. He believes that he has "one of the hardest jobs in the world … the scrutiny he will be under. I hope William becomes King at an early age. I think we need young people like him to lead. I think he will be a tremendous king – not that Charles won't, but I think William will be … tremendous."

No Royal Wedding for Elton John

Despite the buzz about him performing at the Royal wedding on April 29th, the singer is pretty sure that he won't be on the guest list.

Believe it or not, even if he was a close friend of Lady Diana, Sir Elton John doesn't expect any invitation from Prince William and Kate Middletown.

"I think because of my relationship with Princess Diana, people automatically think I'm going to be invited, but since i don't know Prince William well, I would not expect to be invited to the wedding", he told Reuters.

With 10 Grammy Nominations Eminem Completes

The Grammy Nominations were announced earlier this week. Like most Grammy years there were few surprises, what did surprise most was the man who came away with the most nominations.

That's right, Eminem. Slim Shady himself has his name in most catagories, except for maybe Country. As we've seen that doesn't necessarily mean he will win them all, not with the likes of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift out there. The fact he was able to come out of the hole he was in, and pull himself together to make such an incredible album, and put his name back up there with the nominees speaks volumes about the "The Real Slim Shady"!
