Khloe & Lamar Take a Break from Reality

Khloe Kardashian Odom recently announced that her reality show Khloe and Lamar, would be put on hiatus until further notice. Many rumors have been circulating that the couple's decision to take a break from reality TV was indeed made by Odom, who wants to focus more on his basketball career. Kardashian, being the supportive wife, will honor her husband’s wishes.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the couple put the rumors to rest when they stated the break would only be for the summer. "Our show is not cancelled. Lamar and I have chosen to take a break this summer. We've been on a whirlwind doing back-to-back shows, and we just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics -- you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now."

We wish them the best but if you need more time off, take it guys, we still have another three years of Kardashian’s to keep hungry viewers occupied.

It's LiLo's Turn To Sue

The video of Lindsey at the Kamofie & Company jewelry store was revealed yesterday. The store sold the video rights to the Associated Press for $40.000 who then sold it to Entertainment Tonight.

When she got aware of this, the Mean Girl immediately called her lawyers to prepare a lawsuit: the actress never gave her authorization to the store to use her image for profit...

A store's rep told, "We regret to hear there is trepidation by Miss Lohan in connection with the video. We hope that everyone understands that this is beyond our control, the flood of the requests to see this video were simply too overwhelming. It was truly necessary to put it out."

We haven't heard the last of this story!

GLAM DAMN IT
Shoe Dazzle By Kim Kardashian

If you’ve ever focused on the tiny print next to an outfit in a fashion magazine and frowned at the price, or if you’re a devotee of your favorite designer’s “sale” section online, you know that it’s not easy to keep up with trends. Many, if not all of us these days follow the "look for less" mantra and wish for the day when the suggested retail price is negotiable. If you nodded in agreement, then you can sigh in relief because the solution is here.

The reality star turned entrepreneur, Kim Kardashian, has created an online accessories shopping experience known as Shoe Dazzle. In a recent television interview, she called it the “shoe of the month club.” Basically, you complete a short questionnaire about whose style you admire and which runway looks you’re most likely to wear. Then, a score of celebrity stylists like Anya Sarre, a stylist for Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, Toni Ferrara, Michael Bassolino, and Kim herself send an e-mail with five selections of shoes, purses and jewelry during the first week of every month, in what they call your “showroom”. As if having your own personal stylist to hand-pick your accessories isn’t enough of a perk, everything costs $ 39.95, with no additional fees. If you don’t like any of the choices (highly unlikely) or if you’re still craving more to shop for, the site offers another five alternates to choose from, including the shoes who almost made it to your top five. Unlike other shoe-of-the- month sites, Shoe Dazzle does not require a credit card number to create an account and you can simply skip a month if you decide not to buy anything from your showroom during those first five days. In case an evil force manipulates your mind and you decide not to be a member anymore, you can cancel at anytime.

'Glee' Just Made Everyone's Day!!

'Glee' absolutely killed it with their Madonna episode...and they're going to bury it when they air a -- get ready -- Britney Spears episode! That's right! I know, I know. I can't contain myself either.

'Glee' creator/writer Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Tonight that the show is currently in the middle of writing a Brit episode. There's no confirmation yet on whether or not Brit will appear in the episode.

Honestly though, who cares? Just imagining Kurt (Chris Colfer) singing "Toxic" is enough to make me die. Or even Jane Lynch doing "I'm a Slave For You".

Oooh what if Puck (Mark Salling) did "Womanizer"? I retract my previous statement. That's when I'd die.

An Evening with Maureen Davis of the Flutterbies

For those of you who haven't heard of The Flutterbies (a spoonerism pronounced Flut-ter-bye's), you've been missing out. The Flutterbies core group is as followed, Maureen Davis -- Lead Vocals & Guitar; Adam Daniel -- Vocals & Guitar;. Bart Ryan -- Lead & Lap Steel guitar; Steve "eye candy" Whalen -- Bass; Christopher Allis - Drums. The band is Maureen Davis & Adam Daniel, and the other band members flutter in and out of their music life -- playing either unplugged or full band every month. With songs chalked full of lyrics intended to massage heartache and sooth bellowing emotions, the Flutterbies sound can best be described as Bonnie Raitt on a blind date with Beck while being served a shot of Southern Comfort by Janis Joplin in a Louisiana juke joint.

Week In Review

My apologies for the lack of entries over the last 2 weeks. But, I’m back. The summer has flown by. I have had plenty of opportunity to go away but the timing has been all wrong. So I’ve roamed the city and headed out to the Hamptons a few times. So what’s been going on? Well a little bit of everything. Where do I start?

Fashion Week is fast approaching and everyone’s starting to come back so we’re opening Upstairs at Cipriani early. The date is this Thursday, August 28th, play throughout the weekend with Karaoke this Sunday and get crazy all of next week. I’ve been going to everyone else’s places but they seem to just be a stop on the way home. I don’t know why but it's true. BIASED BUT TRUE…
