Behind the Fabric with Suit Designer Stephen Seo
I recently had the opportunity to chat with Stephen Seo a very well established menswear designer. One would think that someone who dresses celebrities and many Fortune 500 big wigs might have a pretentious air about them. Stephen was a true gentlemen in all sense of the word. He also was extremely down to earth and described his interesting experiences in the apparel industry. Stephen exudes a confident and cool attitude that men ascribe to and women love. After a meeting with Rolex a few years back, Stephen who was in marketing at the time, decided that personal presentation is very important to grand success and began his creative journey into menswear. After meeting him and viewing his amazing men's collection, I can easily see why the men of Entourage work with him. As an additional note, he also creates handsome custom tuxedos for those men who have recently gotten engaged! This menswear genius lives in Manhattan overlooking the stock exchange and Wall Street and is inspired by the energy of the area. DP: Tell me about your impeccable suit collections and how you began in the apparel industry? SS: My collection is crafted by hand, a garment takes 60 to 70 hours to complete. I have always had an appreciation for the tradition and craftsmanship of Savile Row in London. I entered this industry as a frustrated consumer myself. I was just looking for clothes that fit me, and the idea of Bespoke seemed like an obvious choice for me. I love fashion and wanted to share my passion with people & with those who want to distinguish themselves. DP: What's the 2012 late/Summer Man-- explain the look and what's going on for Fall 2012? SS: A well-tailored sports blazer has been a great look for the summer-- perhaps with a dress linen shirt. You can wear them with either a pair of shorts or denim jeans. Very cool look! The same blazer will take you into Fall. It's all about being versatile. However, a big check or windowpane pattern will be very big for this Fall. They are very classic and a sophisticated look. It's all about the details. DP: You dress the men of Entourage - tell me about that experience! What other celebrities do you work with? SS: Entourage was one of greatest opportunities for Stephen Seo's history. It was a awesome lifestyle showcase for our target audience. They were fun to work with and appreciated hand crafted garments. The cast even wanted to keep my garments for their own events! We are hoping to work with David Beckham and Daniel Craig on future projects that are in the works. DP: Men, like women need to look polished. What's the one item in your collection every man should own? SS: A lot of men forget to wear a pocket square. That is a very important key element to complete "the look." You can choose a printed Italian silk, cotton, or linen, depends on the occasion. It's the perfect way to polish-off your look, men! DP: I hope all of the men out there are taking notes. What's your best advice for other men and women looking to break into the business and fashion industries. SS: Confidence is the one word that we all need to believe in. Whatever you design, style or wear, maximizing your confidence level is the most important thing in fashion.

'Entourage' and Former Porn Star Sasha Grey Defends Her Elementary School Visit

Guess the school doesn’t believe in background checks.

Emerson Elementary School in Compton, California had invited actress & former porn star, Sasha Grey to read to the children at their school. When they did so, they did not know her resume was quite as “adult” as it actually is.

The ‘Entourage’ actress defended herself saying, “ I believe education is a universal right. I committed to this program with the understanding that people would have their own opinions about what I have done, who I am and what I represent, “ also, “I am an actor. I am an artist. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am a partner. I have a past that some people may not agree with, but it does not define who I am. I will not live in fear of it.”

Mixtape Mondays: Thank You, Entourage
Today's picks are coming in hot! I'm going to keep it short and sweet this week since all I have to say about these songs is that, without the show Entourage, I probably wouldn't have come upon them on my own. I'm currently on season 6, and, while there are five previous seasons-worth of great songs offered from this show, this past season I have been struck by these three beauties, so I figured I'd keep it season 6-focused. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to say...except, "LISTEN!"

Those who have missed the HBO series The Sopranos since it went off air will be sure to take notice of this new show that is produced and occasionally directed by the great Martin Scorsese.

Ari Gold's Favorite Client

Robert Pattinson will be making a guest appearance on Entourage this upcoming Sunday for the series finale. Rumor has it that the sparkling vampire will be playing the most difficult client that Ari Gold has ever come across.

Fans of both Twilight and Entourage are sure to not miss out on the episode. Not even a Kristen Stewart appearance can ruin this. And that's pushing it.

Entourage - The Movie

All you Entourage fans out there will be ecstatic to here that there will be an Entourage movie! Mark Wahlberg has confirmed, ""I am more focused on making that movie than my own films. I just think we can make a great movie. I think people always wanted [it] and have complained that the episodes are too short - they've always wanted more. I think we're going to do it. We just have to end strong, and this season is, by far, the best season so far." This is very exciting news! Mark even went to far as to talk about the trailer, In the trailer, you see [Ari and his associate, Lloyd] waking up together in Vegas not knowing what happened," Mark added. "It would be pretty cool!" Mark said he might even make it to the big screen wit his boys for a cameo! This is huge for "Drama", finally making a movie!

¡MAYDAY! Takes the Stage at Vagabond

¡Mayday! takes the stage at a fully packed room in Vagabond, and without warning, launches off into a complete jam session on stage. Each of the six band members begin to completely let loose, hyping up the entire crowd around them. The percussion section, composed of Nonymous and LT Hopkins lay the beats down, while the guitarist/keyboardist Plex Luthor and keyboardist/bassist Gianni Cash chime in, completely syncopated. Front men Wrekonize & Bernbiz bring the swagger and begin to hype the crowd up even more before launching into the first song.

Chris Kattan and Jeremy Piven Duke it Out

A diva fight took place recently, and it was not between Whitney and Aretha, but Jeremy Piven and Chris Kattan. I know, what? Really? Why?

Both were appearing on Alexa Chung’s MTV talk show. They were backstage when Kattan asked Piven, “So, what are you here to promote, your Broadway play?” You may wonder why this innocent question/joke would unleash such a spazzed-out tirade from Piven. This is because “Piven left Speed the Plow last December after suffering mercury poisoning from bad sushi and is now in a legal battle with the show’s producers who believe the actor made up the plan to get out of his contract,” reports MSNBC.

Seth Rogen Has Something to Say About Entourage's Insults

If you’re an avid Entourage viewer like myself, you’d know that this past Sunday’s episode entailed continuous rips throughout its 30-min duration on actor Seth Rogen. Turtle’s (Jerry Ferrara) character finds it difficult to believe that someone so “unattractive” could get a girl like Katherine Heigl in real life; referring to the two year old movie, Knocked Up. This was referenced at least three times in the show, as Turtle could not put his disbelief to rest. Not only were these comments uncalled for at the frequency to which they were mentioned, but outdated as well. Since his 2007 comedy, Rogen has been dropping weight and toning his physique to play the lead role in his newest upcoming film, The Green Hornet, playing opposite of another blonde bombshell; Cameron Diaz.
