FOOD AWARDS
Yesterday, S. Pellegrino released their “World’s 50 Best Resturants” list for the third consectutive year. The list has been become respected within the culinary industry with René Redzepi’s Noma, in Copenhagen, securing first place. The top ten of the 2012 list included newcomers Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London and Daniel Humm and Will Guidara’s Eleven Madison Park in New York rounding out the ninth and tenth spot. Other restaurants that have placed in the top ten in the past, such as Le Chateaubriand in Paris dropped to 15 while Heston’s Fat Duck made way for his new addition by dropping to 13. Thomas Keller’s Per Se in New York was the highest-ranking restaurant in Manhattan. Keller’s French Laundry was also listed reappearing on the list after being absent from the top 50 in 2011.
