The dubstep sub-genre, once a medium for fresh minds creating new sounds and beats, has become a place for muddled and overused womps drowning in Modern Talking Skrillex scratches. Producers have taken a backseat when it comes to originality, riding the coattails of every new sound until they become bland and boring. Thankfully, this lackadaisical epidemic hasn’t swept over the entire genre, leaving a select few originators to take the lead on worthwhile beats. Dillion Francis, the moombahton meets dubstep master, is a true innovator in the electronic realm and will be touring Florida with his masterfully-crafted sounds this summer.
