Victory Beer Hall:
Get your brew on! Partnering with Philadelphia’s Victory Brewing Company, the Victory Beer Hall was destined to be an unrivaled buoyant experience. The space features sizeable, beer hall style tables, and a stage for live indoor entertainment. You can also mingle on its 2,000 square-foot patio which comes with a fire pit and a privy panoramic view of the Philadelphia skyline. As if the space isn’t intriguing enough, The Victory Beer Hall's signature is its extensive and eclectic selection of regional Philadelphia brews.
Last night, The Sanctuary Hotel's Haven Rooftop debuted its new winter Ski Chalet. Instead of hitting the slopes in Vail and Aspen, stay put in NYC for a great (and less expensive) alternative. Waitresses donned sexy ski bunny outfits while serving Russian Standard Vodka on a shot ski. Other winter-themed cocktails were served, such as the Ultimate Irish Coffee and Candy Cane Martini. The rooftop was decked out with winter-worthy decor, complete with snow but without the chill. Haven Rooftop's Snowed In Thursday party will debut tonight, with top DJs spinning nightly Wed-Sat nights. Get the snowy reprieve from city life without the chasing it with the flu.
After a successful Movember launch at Frankford Hall at the beginning of the month, the venue is wrapping up the month of moustaches with an epic closing gala tonight. The event, which will take place from 6pm-1am, will not only be full of food 'n' drink specials, but will also be giving out prizes! You may know Natalie Oliveros by her more common name, Savanna Samson. The former porn star partnered with revered winemaker Roberto Cipresso to create delicious red wine under the La Fiorita label. La Fiorita was created by Roberto in 1992 and quickly rose to success. The pair partnered together in 2011 to take La Fiorita to the next level. The launch party for the new wine '07 Brunello di Montalcino was hosted earlier this week at Espace in NYC to an enthusiastic crowd. Last week, La Fiorita's '04 Brunello di Montalcino won Best Wine at the Meran Wine Festival in Italy and the '06 Brunello di Montalcino won a gold medal, so it's no wonder that the newly debuted '07 matched up to its predecessors' excellence. The wine was surprisingly smooth and flavorful and drinking it down made for a great party. Congrats on the success of this new vino and we can't wait to try more in the future!
No Shave November, aka Movember, is finally upon us! To kick-off this epic month of men's health awareness, Philly's popular German biergarten, Frankford Hall, is hosting the ultimate launch party tonight from 6-8pm. All Mo Bros and Mo Gals are welcome to join in on the fun. The Phillie Phanatic will be spouting a moustache and is going to show it off Thursday night at the kickoff event, along with Chef Kevin Spraga, Tommy Greene, and Fran Dunphy.
Professional groomers from The Art of Shaving will also be on hand to offer free shaves to Mo Bros from 6-8pm (gotta start fresh!). The first 25 Bros to register will receive a free Frankford Hall giant pretzel and everyone who registers throughout the night will be entered to win one of three $100 STARR gift cards.
