GREY'S ANATOMY

ALMOST FAMOUS Eric Dane
Eric Dane is Leaving Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy fans might be sad to hear this but "McSteamy" is hanging up his scrubs.

The actor recently announced that he will not be returning to the show. Dane plays Dr. Mark Sloan and after much consideration he has decided to leave because he felt it was "the right time in the storyline."

He is not the only cast member to depart for season 9. Chyler Leigh, who plays his on-screen love, and Kim Raver who played Dr. Teddy Altman, have also left the show recently.

But do not fear Grey's fans, the remaining cast has signed on for seasons 9 and 10, so the show will survive at least two more seasons.

We can't wait to see what happens next!

Will McDreamy Stay or Go?

Say it isn’t so! Is our favorite super-handsome surgeon getting ready to leave after next season?

Television regular Patrick Dempsey, or at the very least his alter-ego ‘Dr. McDreamy’, has practically become a household name ever since the ABC hospital drama Grey’s Anatomy shot to fame back in 2005. The fact that the show has just ended its seventh season makes everything seem so surreal.

FIRST COURSE The Happy Baker
The Happy Baker

Just like Izzy on Grey’s Anatomy, when the handsome patient she fell in love with died, she could not stop baking. There were muffins, scones, cakes... nobody could finish them all. And there are many women like this out there. You may be one of them. The author, Ms. Bolger writes in her dedication that: “The stories in my book are inspired by events in my life. Vodka may have been involved while writing them. My intent is to write humorous relatable stories, not to bash men I have encountered... seriously.”

Best TV Series Couples

What would Grey's Anatomy be like if there weren't Derek and Meredith? And what Gossip Girl would have looked like without Blair & Chuck?

We just love couples in TV series. Or we hate them. Or both. They are iconic. Some of them even inspired us in our everyday lives.

From past or current shows, here's a selection of the best ones...

“All we can do is keep breathing” – Ingrid Michaelson

This 29-year-old New York based singer songwriter, is a unique talent with inspirational sounds you don’t want to miss. Her music can be described as the epitome of soothing and relaxing tunes, with an uplifting touch. She keeps her lyrics very straight forward, and melodies “deceptively simple”, with catchy and repetitive chorus lines. It is the simplicity of her music that yields the true beauty of her talent. Some may compare her music to Regina Spektor’s, and she replies by stating “Yes, I hear aspects of [her] music in mine. I don't ever want to replicate, I just get inspired to push myself past my comfort zone...and that always makes for better music.” Instrument wise, her albums incorporate her distinctive vocals mixing with light guitar, piano, and ukulele .

T.R. Knight to Leave Grey's Anatomy

What in the world is going on at Seattle Grace Hospital?? That’s not really a new question, though, is it? Ever since Isaiah Washington’s famously stupid slur, the once wildly popular “Grey’s Anatomy” has gone down, down, down hill. Not only has the show gotten progressively worse (and I say that with a heavy heart as, yes, I admit, I am still a fan) but the cast is reluctant to stay. So who’s next?

The latest rumor regarding T.R. Knight’s departure has been confirmed. Apparently, the actor is unhappy with his character’s storyline and has asked to be released from his contract. We don’t really blame him, though. First, his character, George O’Malley, has an affair with Izzy Stevens, and then he fails his intern exam and has to repeat his internship. After retaking the test he’s back on track, and well, now he's boring. An insider has said ABC will grant his request and allow him to break his contract.

What will be next for “Grey’s Anatomy”? I know I’ll still tune in, though. McSteamy is just too yummy to resist, no matter how bad the show gets.
