A Night of Grace In The City

Last night was amazing night in NYC as I marched uptown to Bergdorf Goodman to socialize with Linda Fargo, Leigh Lezark, Daphne Guinness and more.

The event was to celebrate Steven Klein: 30 Seasons With Akris. The label's designer, Albert Kriemler, was also in attendance. Besides the amazing and devastatingly handsome catering and bar staff, the fourth floor was filled with delightful Akris-clad mannequins and images of Akris clothing throughout the years.

Henry Holland Dances With Levi's...

London's hottest (and we do mean hottest) designer, Henry Holland, launched his H! by Henry Holland collection yesterday at Debenhams - where he also signed "Bagazine" clutches for those who came to the 7:30am call time.

But more importantly, how many would agree that Chanel ambassador, Leigh Lezark, alongside model Jacob Coupe, looks completely fabulous in the lookbook for Holland's Spring 2010 Levi's bevy?

The photographs, shot by Mark Irwin, phenomenally capture Lezark in denim and corduroy - though we don't know if it's the clothing itself or envy of Lezark's Chanel ambassador title that we love more.

London Fashion Week Starts Today

Out with the old, in with the new—well, kind of. Today kicks off the 25th Anniversary of London’s Fashion Week. You can expect to see old favorites like Burberry and Vivienne Westwood, but this year, keep your eyes on the fresh faces of fashion. London wants to focus its trendsetters towards the 40 emerging designers hoping to make it big in the next week.

With fashion shows being held all over the city, many companies are sponsoring future design stars. New Generation, who helped launch the careers of Alexander McQueen, Matthew Williamson, and Boudicca have seventeen participants—watch for Henry Holland and Danielle Scutt. Fashion East, launching young brands like Marios Schwab, will debut its young designers Holly Fulton, Michael van der Ham and Heikki Salonen.

Henry Holland's New T-Shirt Line

London-based fashion designer Henry Holland, who first made his mark in 2006 with his sexually suggestive slogan tees featuring fashion industry alums, has managed to continue on the same tongue-in-cheek vein but with a new twist. Reminiscent of his previous line’s slogans such as “Do Me Daily Christopher Bailey”, the new t-shirt line features a list of names like Karl Lagerfeld, close friend Agyness Deyn, Donatella Versace and John Galliano in pen-drawn nude caricatures with strategically placed flower petals. The t-shirts are set to arrive in stores next year and cost around £75.
