HILARY DUFF
Hilary Duff, 24, revealed the birth of her son, Lucas Cruz Comrie via Twitter with the message, "Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy."
She later tweeted, “We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world. He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well.”
Back in August 2011, the former Disney star announced her pregnancy adding that she and Comrie were ready to start a new chapter in their lives.
“People keep saying to me, 'Sleep right now. Get your sleep. I keep saying, 'I just want the baby here! I want to play and I'm ready to see what he looks like,” Duff told Us Weekly in December.
She told Eonline.com, "I'm not the first person in Hollywood to have a baby. Other people have found a way to deal with it and I think I will, too," on raising a child in the public eye.
Duff and Comrie married in 2010.
Duff sure was pregnant for a long time. Jessica Simpson, you’re next!
Do these little ones know how to coordinate or what?
First funny woman Tina Fey gave birth on August 10th to her second daughter, Penelope Athena, with composer hubby Jeff Richmond. Next comes the news that Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren have also added another girl, Haven Garner, to their household, along with 3-year-old Honor Marie. Mommyhood is in the air, for sure!
However, the news we are really SUPER excited about is Hilary Duff's baby news! That's right, Lizzie McGuire is no longer worrying about being "Best Dressed" in the yearbook or dreading the embarassment of buying her first bra! Now she has more grown-up issues to tackle.
Wow....who knew cutie Shia was such a big mouth? LaBeouf said way too much during his interview with Details Magazine when conversing about his conquests past romances. Shouldn't celebrities in the limelight know better? Especially when you're at the risk of tainting somebody else's reputation? I smell big trouble...
Actor, Shia LaBeouf, shows off says during the interview:
"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."
"Ahhhh good morning chilly Paris! Nice flight... Waiting for luggage. Die for a coffee!", twitted Duff when she arrived in the French capital.
She arrived early this morning with her entourage and will enjoy a short break before flying back to America to work on her next project The Story of Bonnie and Clyde.
The production of the movie is set to begin this March in Alabama and Louisiana, and the actress will play the role of Bonnie in the movie which is described as "an account of the career of the infamous and notoriously violent bank robbing couple and their gang.”
Enjoy your trip in one of the most romantic city of the world...
Even if it seems to be the case for a lot of celebrities these days, Hilary Duff does not belong to one of them. She is not pregnant unlike what a tabloid reported a few days ago. At least not yet. Yes, she says out loud, that she wants to be a mom, but it's just not happening right now.
In response to these rumors, Duff and her Canadian hockey player husband Mike Comrie immediately twitted: "Wow what a way to wake up and find out your pregs! It's just a rumor guys! Not true. But thanks for all the good wishes! Lol."
Last October, the couple who got married in August spoke about their desire to have a child, but was adamant that it was too soon: "We're excited to have kids, but we don't want to do it now. We've been married for six weeks."
So we’ve already heard about Privileged’s Joanna Garcia playing Nate’s (Chace Crawford) new love interest on the show, and you may have even heard about Hilary Duff signing on to play a movie star enrolling at NYU as Vanessa’s (Jessica Szohr) roommate. So who else is joining the glamorous posse?
Things are getting hot (as in flash) in Hollywood's latest feud between Hilary Duff and Faye Dunaway. When Dunaway learned Duff was cast in the upcoming remake of Bonnie and Clyde, she cattily questioned, "Couldn't they at least cast a real actress?" The Duffster, no stranger to starlet infighting, was not about to take it from Dunaway, Hollywood legends be damned. In this interview we uncovered from E!, she shoots back by saying her fans don't know who Dunaway is and even insults the silver screen star's looks.
If that wasn't extraordinary enough, Duff piped up again on "The Bonnie Hunt Show." She told Hunt that it was unfair for Dunaway to judge her, seeing as she's still a wee lass. She insisted, "I think I have time to grow—and grow with each project. I am learning..." But don't fool yourself Faye, this one's still got spunk. Duff admitted her comments on E! may have crossed a line but laid down the law saying, "It's not OK for people to take stabs at you and to say mean things for no reason." Dunaway is a relative newcomer to the warped, wicked ways of former Disney starlets, but she plays in the big leagues and we can't wait to see if Dunaway will go all Mommy Dearest on Hil's ass.
